The story starts when a Scare assistant was going to tear up a kid's door because the kid wasn't scared of the monster anymore. So Randall, who is jealous of Mike and Sulley, grabs Mike's paperwork and throws it in the shredder. But a week later, Mike gets his revenge. George Sanderson unknowingly had another kid sock on his back and so the C.D.A came to get rid of the sock. Mike then grabs the paperwork belonging to Randall and Fungus, and told the C.D.A that it was also toxic, so they burned the paperwork up! That's hardly mean, but it was completely unnecessary and quite dull. If I were a parent I'd feel like I had just wasted 5 precious minutes of my life and worry that I had killed a brain cell or two in my kid. I don't know what possible good these people expected kids to get out of a story like this. I agree that that bit about Randall was unfair. He enjoys a practical joke once in a while, (and who doesn't?) but I really think he sticks to his own paper work and stays out of others'. Sticking paperwork through the shredder because he was "jealous" just seems below his maturity level, and I doubt he'd even want to waste time doing so.

"Well personally "their" Randall seems to be a bit immature there....not like me at all...."

Yeah, I mean, in the film Randall acts much more maturely than Mike or Sulley, ESPECIALLY Mike who, at the end of it all, creates a company play based on lies that is meant to make him out as some kind of hero!

"Well....I suppose I...grew up too fast...."
Please...don't remind me of that play. It isn't even a play at all....

I'd just love to show Mike and Sulley what Randall's been through- make them feel as guilty as they can be.

Well.... There WAS an adventure comic that DID put Randall in a good light. He wasn't scowling....more of a bit of a trouble-maker-proven type. It was about Sullivan and Wazowski losing a can of "Monster-Cola" in a child's room....and...well...they needed to get it back. Sounds stupid right? But believe me...it's not...even if it is those two... It was one of those that made you switch between pages with a choice of door. Randall came in either "coming upon" the missing can, being bothered by the two (Randall surprises them naturally ^_^), or seemingly "holding" the can throughout the whole thing. Well eventually the two get introuble and Randall seems to get a semi-good rap from it. Hey! I know which comic you're talking about! It was in the Disney Adventures mag that came out right before the movie was in theaters. I didn't get an interest in MI before the movie, so I didn't have the chance to buy it myself, but I have heard of that comic.

Really?! Alright. Yeah. It had allot of M.I. in it. Actually, I was a bit surprised by this. I'm unsure if it takes place when Randall was Top Scarer or not, but it has him, Fungus, Wazowski, and Sullivan in it.

Does anybody have a copy of this comic to scan on and show us? Or know where it can be found, either scanned onto a differnt site or for sale somewhere on the internet?

I've got a copy somewhere, but I will have to look for it. I had a big dog go berserk last year inside my house, and he tore up a bunch of my magazines. I'm pretty sure this one survived, but like I said, I put the survivors up, and now I have to remember WHERE.

The "Disney Adventures" comic, the one where you "choose" what happens next, I think. That's the one I have. The thread was originally about a short story in a big storybook put out by Disney, one with 365 bedtime stories, one for each day of the year.
