They totally failed to see the irony, Sean, in that beat-up old chair, that Sulley bought at a yard sale for ten dollars(according to the "Essential Guide"), have a purple, scaly pattern. They failed to realize that Sulley used it, along with a mop, some cardboard teeth, and a couple of lightbulbs to fashion Boo a costume that was purple and scaly, had large round "eyes", and sharp, pointy "teeth". Wonder what went through Randall's mind, when he first saw this human child, who'm he had been seeking, in the company of his two rivals, and she was dressed in a costume that was made to have some semblence to HIM? Now, I'm sure that when Sulley made that costume, Randall was the furtherest thing from his mind, but RANDALL wouldn't have known that, now would he? He didn't even know HOW the kid had come to be in the company of Sullivan and Wazowski, or WHY they were hanging onto her, but it would not have been unreasonable for him to think that they were going to use her against him, by turning her in as evidence, and with her dressed in a purple scaly costume, surely SOMEBODY would have made that connection. And surely they also intended for it to mock HIM.

Who's "they"? Pixar? Well...they DID leave little notes for us to find to prove Randall's innocence in this and his life in general...

I think Pixar knew what they were doing when they designed that chair...

Yep, exactly... You see. Pixar tends to do things in layers. Sometimes secretcy (like how in interviews they tell Randall being the bad guy, but in originals, he was a nice guy...well....not shown evil anyway).
That's why they let intellegent, understanding people like us find them.

That's why they let intellegent, understanding people like us find them. Randall was NOT a bad guy at all. Waternoose was the evil madman who told Rand-kun to kidnap Boo. The throw rug and the zit only jumped to conclusions. Truth be told, Randall was only dedicated to his job. SO there.

*applaudes* Ooh, bravo! Bravo yoruhoshi! Nicely done! You are right! Randall was not the bad guy, it was Waternoose. If only Pixar would have done that, you know, making Waternoose the bad guy and Randall helping Sulley and Mike defeating him. If only Pixar would have done that!

Pixar is so rude, making all those people jump to bad conclusions about Randall-sama.

Yeah. I just hope they'll be making a second movie about Monsters Inc. and show Randall's good side.
