I have a burning hatred for Randall Boggs from Pixar's hit movies, Monsters Inc and Monsters University. In fact, that wretched purple lizard has ruined my childhood and life in so many levels. I've never been the same ever since this horrible being came into my life. When I was a small child, 5 years old at that, my parents unknowingly put on Monsters Inc for me to watch for the very first time, having no idea of the levels of trauma and horror one of the characters was about to inflict on my innocent, defenseless 5 year old self.
The movie was enjoyable, honestly. Great even! But that all changed when that terrible lizard came on screen. I was horrified, devastated. I called out to my parents, hoping that they could turn off this terrible movie or let me watch something else, but they couldn't hear me. All of a sudden, Randall looked at me, right in the eye. He was staring directly at my trembling 5 year old self, snickering as he saw me panicking to find the remote controller. I can still hear his words vividly, taunting my poor self as he laughed maniacally. I had enough and tried running away to my room, but as I frantically tried to climb off the sofa, the lights turn off. I cant see a thing besides the TV screen and the light it was emitting around it, which wasn't a lot. I didn't know it was possible for me to become more terrified than i already was, but I did. I watched fearfully as the purple, eight-legged monster climb out of the TV. He leaped towards me, knocking me to the ground. I dont know how my parents didnt hear all of the commotion. I tried to get back up on my feet to run away but everywhere I turned, I saw him. He used his camouflage to taunt me, everywhere I went, he would pop out of nowhere and block my path. I was scared out of my mind. The lights turned back on and i saw my parents staring back at me from the hallway. And just like that, Randall had disappeared without a trace, as if nothing ever happend, leaving my parents confused as to why their child was lying on the floor sobbing their eyes out.
I tried convincing them and telling them everything that happend, but they wouldnt believe me. Everyone I tell this to called me insane, but i will never forget the torment Randall Boggs put me through. He's diabolical.
