I don't like dogs... And Buckbeak rules. ;D Just curious...if you don't like dogs, then why have a wolf as your avatar? Wolves ARE dogs, and vice versa-they belong to the same species, and having had a pack of wolves myself, I can tell you that they act just like any other big dog, just much more timid. They do all the aggravating things dogs do, like dig holes in the yard, chew up stuff that's yours, leave HUGE piles on the lawn where you have to step, shed enormous amounts of hair twice year, bark(AND howl), slobber, put muddy pawprints on your nicest clothes, etc. They just aren't very good for protection, since they run and hide at the slightest sign of trouble, and don't bark at strangers, just ridiculous things like the wind changing directions and frogs calling in the distance. They ARE beautiful animals when they have their full winter coats, but look like mangy mutts during the summer. pitbulllady

Because it was the best avatar I could find at short notice, basically, and well...yeah. There's something about dogs...I know they sense fear, and because I'm scared of them, they seem to really sense that. I don't know really why I don't like them- there are some dogs that are lovely- I'm just not a dog person. ;D

No, I don't like, HATE them or anything, I just...don't really like being around them. I didn't want to say anything because Jacko seemed like a really nice dog and I didn't want to offend you. *hugs Jacko but backs away as he starts growling* ;D

That's all right; I'm personally more of a dog person myself (especially big dogs), but I can see where you're coming from. I still sometimes get nervous around certain dogs, though -- especially the ones that like to bark at people from the other side of a fence for no good reason. And those little "yippy" dogs can really get on my nerves, too.

The only dogs I really like the look of are these dogs...I think they're huskies, because they look like wolves and their tales curl. They're beautiful. ;D

WHAT dogs, Cool? You said you liked the looks of these dogs, but there's no pic or link. I could tell you what they are, if I could just see 'em.

Hello...
Being a new member and all, I figured it'd be rather rude to pop into a conversation like this...but I liked the direction it was heading as far as Boo's fear of Randall was concerned...
Anyway, that was really cute, whoever had that dream were Randall returns to Boo's room as a much more amiable being. Although I have a very hard time imagining Randall behaving in any manner which is remotely related to being sentimental...
Who knows. It could happen after several years of banishment and shovel beatings to get him to realize that he may have screwed up somewhere along the line and return to redeem himself, but only in Boo's eyes. This is the part where I've always wondered what would happen if Boo and Randall ever were to meet again. Boo's age would be a major factor in how she would react to the encounter. I think a child's preteen years add more confusion to the mix as they still linger between childhood and growing up. I don't think meeting Randall as a 6 or 8 year-old would have as much impact on Boo as it would when one is on the verge of "outgrowing" things, including the beliefs of monsters hiding in your closet.

Well....I already said my welcome....now I get cracking...
Randall CAN be sentimental you know. You just never seen it. Do you EXPECT to see ALL of a person in about....ohh....2 hours? Especially with ALL he's been through, he couldn't help but be calm at such times....
Exile....Randall wasn't banished....
Yes correct. Age does matter. However. Events could lead to interesting changes. Say Boo got mad at a fellow classmate and, doing similar to what backstabber Sullivan did, punched him in the nose. Of course, she could fully see what happens when the "full-circle" comes if you will.....
