Do you know what's really strange? Her paperwork says that she is 4! Like all of you, I always thought she was around 2 years old since her speech and behavior shows it...

If you are referring to the child whose paperwork is shown in "The Essential Guide To Monsters, Inc.", we actually have discussed that before, a long while back, and came to the conclusion that this child was NOT Boo, but just an example that was shown so folks could see what a child's Scare Profile looked like. Not only was that child too old, but the description of the room didn't quite match, either. This child's room was way too neat-no toys strewn about on the floor for a big clumsy ox like Sulley to trip over! It also mentions a dog being in the house, and given the racket that Sulley was making in the room, surely if a dog had been there(and no mention at all of a cat, though obviously Boo was familiar with those), it would have heard something and started barking. pitbulllady

*pauses* You know...this won't help with the age...but perhaps...the file is either from BEFORE or AFTER the events in the film....

*pauses* You know...this won't help with the age...but perhaps...the file is either from BEFORE or AFTER the events in the film.... Can't be, not if it's Boo's file. Before the movie, she would barely have been old enough to scare; babies don't scream if they get scared. They just cry, and crying apparently does not produce any usable energy, since there IS a mention in the "Essential Guide..." written as a Scare Report by one of the Scarers(not named in the report)about a child crying the first time he/she attempted to scare that child, and casting some doubt as to whether this child would be a good candidate for future scaring. The file can't be from AFTER the events of the movie, either, since it specifically does mention SCARING the child, and even if it did come from that time frame, it can't be Boo's. HER door was officially supposed to have been shredded, remember? pitbulllady
