Saw this in a thread on Tumblr; there's a wonderfully detailed, amazing replica of the MU campus in Hong Kong, which features not only the buildings and the trees, etc., but life-sized, detailed models of the characters for people to pose with. I saved this one of my two favorite guys, Randall and Johnny, with a bunch of little cute kids, so you can really see their size compared to that of the children. Looks like the little girl is like, "man, Randall isn't much taller than ME", lol, but Johnny is just MASSIVE! I mean you really get to appreciate how thick and muscular he is here, as his arms are bigger than Randall's entire body! Johnny might not be as tall as Sulley, but he's much more powerfully built. pitbulllady

*chuckles* I saw this earlier and am always thinking...Pixar is located in America...how come all the best stuff is in Japan or England?! 0_o
Anyway...hehehe...not sure about life-size, as Randall's a little bulkier here and his head seems too big (glasses too)...BUT...hehehe I've been close to what I think is a life-size picture of him and hehehe...aww...he was such a shorty ^0^ He really was just a kid ^0^

I think it looks over-large here due to "forced perspective", because he carries his head forward from the rest of his body, and that's also what makes his body look less bulky. But he is a little guy to begin with; I mean, one of Johnny's horns is as big around as Randall's body! pitbulllady

Nice save there with the brain hehehe. Yes, perspective yes....hehehe.
While I think there are many monsters bigger than Johnny (know one who can gulp him in three seconds), to Randall at the time, he was probably huge. The horns probably just add to the mix. Heh heh...though they thankfully didn't...if the RORs were violent beaters...they'd probably just excuse it off as Randall being "mostly dead" heh. *blinks* You know it's weird...Johnny...Sullivan...even Wazowski...they all have horns. Randall doesn't. *chuckles* Oh jeez...just pictured another certain "person" with horns that isn't really pleasant hehehe.

Other countries really go all-out to promote Pixar movies, its seems, but the only two that really get "pushed" in the US are the Toy Story and Cars franchises. You can go to any Wal-Mart or other retail outlet at any time and find whole shelves of Cars merchandise, but some of the local Wal-Marts have never carried ANY Mu stuff at all yet! pitbulllady
