OK THIS just in! From a guy I know who's seen the premier... there IS something post credits. This did NOT appear in the advance screening. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get details on just what's in the sequence, but STICK AROUND AFTER the credits!

And hmmm, turns out we're getting the movie EARLY here. It's being released at 8:30 PM on THURSDAY as opposed to Friday now. 0_0 They have two more shows at 11 and midnight. Wonder why that is.

Was here any sort of hint that whatever is after the credits would interests us particularly?

No hint on that, unfortunately. Since I get to see it a day early, I may very well do so (if able, I'm waiting on something in particular), and let you guys know.

Really? Well that's good, something new. Hopefully if it does involve Randall Post-MU, it's a set-up for a sequel and NOT some-quick-resolve thing...if it is I'm certainly going to rage in the theatre -_-

This is about the third time I've seen a "BE SURE TO STICK AROUND FOR ALL THE CREDITS!!" heads-up, although none have given any spoilers as to why that's such a big deal. I always DO hang around for Pixar end credits, though, because they nearly always contain something really cool or neat at the very least. My guess is that these for MU will either involve Randall, post-MI, or Boo, or possibly both, which would make me very happy to say the least!

I really look forward to this although I will try not to get my hopes up too high. I mean now that I think more about it, the Pixar tid-bits at the end of movies don't tend to be anything that's majorly significant....generally just funny things or such. So I don't know if they'd really do something plot-huge like showing us that Randall is still alive after MI. I wish they would but I'm not expecting that.

*SPOILER* I just found out what the after credits scene was and it does not involve Randall or anything post MI. Found the description of what happens here. www.mediastinger.com/monsters-university-2013-extras-during-and-after-the-credits/The scene shows Slug finally making it to class. At first he is happy that he seems to have made it to class early. However, the janitor cleaning the room tells him that the school year is over. Slug then runs out of the classroom.

Well, shoot. And THAT is supposed to be worth waiting around for? No bloopers, no post-MI stuff?

But lets not let that bring us down, lets remember that there are still lots of questions to be answered. Pixar wont stop at Monsters University, we Randall fans and the many new ones after MU are just gonna have to keep pushing Pixar to hurry up. Plus, don't forget the possible extras on the dvd release.

*rubs temple* We're a fan board...spoilers galore...why do we not have these tags like PP??
Anyway, seeing is different than what is written but... Good. save that stuff for the sequel Pixar good move. Still, yes, a little disappointing but...lets look at it this way...it took that slug an entire YEAR (or so) to get to class? That's either sad....or the greatest excuse ever for a student to miss class.
