First Randall fanart I've done in a while...too long a while. I did this on a clipboard with a piece of copier paper, a cheap mechanical pencil and some equally cheap colored pencils from the Dollar Store while walking around teaching in my classroom. It is inspired by one of Gary Allan's songs, "Along The Way", from his "Get Off On the Pain" CD. I'd thought of Randall, as an adult, coming "full circle", from that sweet, nerdy little college kid, to that angry, stressed-out, frustrated adult in MI...and finally, being able to get back to a kind-natured, more mature adult who has learned from the mistakes of his past and is able to find happiness at last, especially to be happy with HIMSELF. pitbulllady

Present > Past > Future Hm hm hm. Not bad at all especially with the materials you had on hand. In the end there is a full-circle I imagine. I see Randall being that mature, knowledgeable of the tough, adult he is...but he still got those sweet qualities of his youth teh heh.

That's really amazing and detailed, PBL, as your artworks of him always are.
I also like the concept behind this picture....and it's nice to think that maybe he'll have a happy ending like this, if Pixar decides to go that route at some point.

I really like this, I certainly hope that ends up being his outcome.
