Okay the weather here is getting SERIOUSLY crazy. I even have picture evidence considering I wore this today(picture taken today): I wasn't remotely cold in it either. Infact when I went for a walk I actually sweated a little. Normally I'm still wearing a winter coat at this time and we're still getting snow at this time here. Yes it just turned officially spring but it's usually not until near the end of May that we start getting days that are this warm where I live. It wasn't just today either....pretty much the entire week has been like this. I wore shorts and a t-shirt the day before, etc. Very very weird. It was strange enough that winter here this year felt more like late fall type weather(pretty much like November for a few months). We had hardly any snow. However....SUMMER temperatures in March? Seriously? It just keeps getting weirder.....and sure it's nice to wear a sun dress in March and nice to get out my shorts again too but it makes me wonder if this means July will be killer hot and it also just makes me worried about the world. What about where you guys live? Strange weather for most of the year so far too?

The weather is totally NUTS here! It's been in the mid-to-upper 80's for the last two weeks, which is almost 20 degrees above normal. Bone dry, almost no rain to speak up. I had a feeling this was going to happen in the east, because of the combo of powerful solar storms and a really strong El Nino weather pattern. Poor folks in Flagstaff, AZ, got over 2 FEET of snow earlier this week, though. After two unusually cold winters here, this warm weather should hopefully make a good snake-catching year; lots of them were killed off by the cold the last two years.

Like what state? I live in Canada and it's just crazy to get weather like this here in March. It cooled down today and is now raining but it's still above normal temperatures. Also that's cool, I wish there were more snakes around here. I very rarely see a snake where I live. I guess they probably aren't common when you live in a massive city since I have only seen one if I go down into a ravine or park and even then I rarely see them. I got lucky enough to see one swimming down a stream in a park once when I was a young teen though. I see the most snakes when I go visit relatives in Michigan. The last time I stayed there I saw at least 5 or 6 snakes and I wasn't there for very long. Sadly....one of the snakes I saw had been hit by a car and it was dead. It was a beautiful snake too. It was a blue racer.

The last two years were brutally cold, with single-digit temperatures in some locales within the state, and we're NOT used to that! pitbulllady

I've never been to South Carolina but I have been to a number of US states over the course of my life(I'm a dual citizen and have family in the US). I've been as far out west as Wyoming and as far down south as Florida before.
