What do you guys think? Are you generally attracted to those who are rather opposite to you or similar?
I feel like the majority of guys I've been attracted to are more similar to me than different. I usually connect/are more attracted to guys who at least have some of the same interests as me, perhaps not the exact same kind of personality.....but at least things in common in terms of what we like and can therefore relate to each other on some level. They're also normally guys who are more lanky in terms of build. Not in 100% of cases but I generally like guys who are quite thin.....and that's not really even the 'standard' for beauty with men since the majority of women like guys who are buff, not lanky. I find I tend to go for more guys with a similar build to my own more often than not. Again there are exceptions to this, it's just that I find it's like that more often than not.
So I don't know about the whole opposites attract thing in my case since I usually like people fairly similar to myself both in terms of looks and tastes when it comes to hobbies, etc.

No, I wouldn't say that they do. Pretty much every guy I've been attracted to has had a lot in common with me, and those that didn't, well, let's just say THAT didn't last at ALL. I think that this saying stems from the fact that oppositely-charged magnets and particals attract each other, but people? Not so much.

If anything opposites might have some kind of passionate/hot one night stand for people who are into that kind of thing but it probably wouldn't work out in an actual relationship.
