Man I had a really creepy experience today that was really scary and uncomfortable.
My dad and I went downtown to go to some stores in a mall down there and we pulled into this street and before we even got there there were some people in a car that were really pissed off and just honking like crazy(like the driver was banging his fists against the horn with rage) because I've never seen anyone honk that many times in such an angry fashion.
We didn't know why they were mad and figured it had nothing to do with us because they were already honking like that before we got there.
So anyway, my dad parked there on the side of the street and I got out of the car and suddenly for some reason these people in that car started yelling at me and calling me a beach and saying they were going to park there. WTF.
We didn't even know they wanted to park there because they were honking like crazy before we even got there so there was no reason to believe they were ever at any point in time directing anything at us, not to mention there was a spot right behind us where we had parked. Like immediately behind us. It's not like there wasn't a spot anymore in that area right there.
It was really scary actually. It's really scary how you can get all this anger directed at you for no real reason. It sounded like they wanted to kill me. They were really angry people and I don't know if they were on something or what.
I had told my dad that we probably shouldn't park there(when we first heard the honking even before we got down the street) because even though it wasn't originally directed at us and we had no reason to suspect that it would become directed at us, I knew someone in the area was pissed off and that we should probably just go to a different entrance because it's a huge mall. My dad still decided to park there though and then the rage was directed at me. And it's scary because I do my best to be polite to people. I don't look at anyone for too long on the subway or anything. When I don't know someone I really try to avoid getting in any kind of argument with them in person because I don't know how they will react. I just avoid the situation. In this case, I was placed in a situation I couldn't really do much about, and that scares me.
EDIT:
On another note some really crazy things go down at my dad's workplace.....and I mean really crazy. I'm not sure if I should say what happened or not.
