Randall Boggs, everyone's on this site's hero was voted 27 in top 30 disney villains. Here's the article. Here's an article about Randall. He made number 27 of the top 30 disney villains. 27. Randall Boggs Monsters, Inc. (2001) Voice: Steve Buscemi Generally, villains need power to make their punch effective. Often, they'll be physically imposing (i.e. "large and in charge"). But Randall Boggs, the second most successful scarer in Monstropolis, more the slight and sleazy type, which seems entirely appropriate since he's voiced by Steve Buscemi, a master of slight and sleazy characters in film. But this weasel does have a power and a very cool one at that. He can become invisible at any time, as he rapidly adapts to his surroundings to make him a presence felt, not seen. This proves useful in his shady efforts to reinvent Monsters, Inc, and makes him a threatening nemesis to our likable heroes Sulley, Mike, and Boo. This was done in 2004. The number 1 villain, unfortunately was not Randall Boggs, but was... Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty. How horrible! At least he wasn't 30. Captain Barbossa from Pirates of the Caribbean made that spot. Anyway, any comments on which spot he should actually be?

I think I've seen this somewhere, a while ago...I didn't realise it was still up. Anyway, yeah, to be honest, I don't really think of Randall as the villain of MI- that's Waternoose- so I guess Randall's low placing is relatively appropriate.

Randall should be numbuh 1. He's the best. (Aargh, I'm so mad that they didn't include the Toon Patrol!)
I'm punching whoever called him a weasel, and for two different reasons at that.

Randall should be numbuh 1. He's the best. (Aargh, I'm so mad that they didn't include the Toon Patrol!) I'm punching whoever called him a weasel, and for two different reasons at that. Actually, I'm quite happy that Randall is ranked so low on the "Villains" list, only 27 out of 30, since perhaps that shows that a lot of folks, myself included, do NOT consider him to be a villain in the first place! Antagonist, yeah, but an antagonist is not the same as a villain(we had a nice discussion with Lauren Faust over on the Foster's Home forum about that particular designation, of antagonist vs. villain). He also would qualify as a henchman, since all of his actions were on the orders of the REAL villain, Henry J. Waternoose. I, too, have problems with people using the term "weasel" to describe someone unsavory and/or sneaky. Weasels are actually very bold little critters, and if they want to take something on, they have no qualms about getting right up in that something's face, size notwithstanding! For their size, these are some tough and resourceful animals, and quite clever as well; ferrets(which ARE weasels)score higher than Rhesus Macaques on many problem-solving tests. A lot of folks who equate "weasel" with sneaky and cowardly fail to realize that a Wolverine is ALSO a weasel-one that can whup-@$$ on a Grizzly Bear and send a mountain lion packing! I've had at least one ferret for the past 20 years, so I'm a big admirer of Mustilids, personally. EDIT: Yeah, believe it or not, some of the reviewers DID describe Randall as a centipede! I suspect that those reviewers never actually saw the movie, but were relying on early Pixar press releases, before the movie's release, and possibly had seen some of the earliest character sketches of Randall, in which he DID have a lot more limbs than he does now, and was depicted with wide flat ventral scutes, like a snake's. At some point, I guess someone at Pixar realized he would not need scutes, since he has limbs and CAN walk, unlike a snake, which needs wide scales like that to crawl upon. The scutes might have caused some ignoramus movie reviewer to think he was looking at body segments, like a centipede would actually have. And, of course, the whole "slimy" thing comes from the still-widespread belief that reptiles, snakes and lizards especially, have slimy skin...idiots. pitbulllady

HELLO???
Randall is NOT a villain... he is MISPERCEIVED as a villain. There is a MAJOR difference.
