Just curious what everyone's eye colour is. Anyone else here have green like Randall? My eyes are green. I'm the only one in my family who has green, out of my many cousins and everything. Most people in my family have either blue or gray. I have a bit of gray in my eyes so sometimes I call them green-gray but I think most eyes are a mix of more than one colour if you look closely.....so I generally go with green since that's the colour they're mostly known for. I remember my boyfriend saying "Definitely green." when looking into my eyes. LOL. My dad's eyes are probably the most similar to mine although his are considered more gray. I definitely did not get my mother's eyes though(blue). Here are some pics of my eyes:

My eyes are also green, almost the same shade as Randall's, actually. Green is the rarest of human eye colors, genetically recessive to all other eye colors. People tend to react kinda funny upon realizing just how green my eyes are; I get comments like, "D***, your eyes are GREEN" all the time! I don't-CAN'T-wear contacts, so the color is real. Can't get a picture, though, since my blink reflexes are off the charts, and it's almost impossible for anyone to get a pic of me in which I don't have my eyes closed. It's like that running joke in "My Name Is Earl".

I do think that the green eyeshadow I sometimes wear(like in those pictures) might bring out the green a bit more than if I were to wear some other colour but they're still definitely green or they couldn't look like that. LOL. But they do also look gray in some other pictures so although I tend to label my eyes as more green, I guess green-gray is also accurate. Anyway that's cool that your eyes are the same shade of green as Randall's. XD If your blink reflexes are really that extreme I wonder what it's like when/if you ever need to have eye drops put into your eyes. I guess someone has to forcibly hold your eyelids open for that?

My eyes are light-sensitive, as are the eyes of many green or blue-eyed people, so my blink reflexes are only triggered by light. I used to wear contacts, hard ones, for many years before I developed "dry eye" problems, which are common in people my age, and I had no trouble putting them in or taking them out or putting drops in my eyes. I have to wear bifocals, now. It's just knowing that a bright light is going to flash that makes me blink.

XD Anyway....yeah a lot of people who have brown eyes say they wish they had a different colour although brown eyes are actually best against light and stuff like that. So in a way they are better....I guess people just find the brown colour more boring because it's more common. I think all eye colours can be beautiful, really. I've certainly found guys with every colour of eyes attractive.

I actually don't get a ton of compliments. LOL. Although when people do compliment me, it usually is either my eyes or my hair.
Anyway, sometimes my eyes actually look grey instead of green....now that I stopped wearing the eye shadow so often they sometimes look grey. So I think they are more like a grey-green colour(a mixture of both those colours).

Also, brown eyes can be just as beautiful, although yes, they are more common.

Yeah a lot of people have brown eyes in my family, and they can be just as pretty I did read somewhere that darker eyes respond better to light then the more rare eye colors, blue, green, etc.

I've got very blue eyes which look a bit odd with my dark hair. A friend of mine has lovely green eyes and there is something about them, not just in terms of how unique they are, but they almost glisten in the light haha! But, again, I also have friends with deep, dark, brown eyes and they too look beautiful in a more sort of soul-searching way.

In other words, if you carry both a blue eyes gene and brown eyes gene, your eyes will be brown. You happened to get both genes for blue eyes from your family, hence your eyes are blue.
