Surfing on Youtube is always fun but not when idiots seem to get dumb when it comes to companies and their Youtube pages. For those who don't know, alot of companies out there use Youtube as a way to show off what's new for their customers and companies who make props and stuff for Halloween do alot of this actually. Well, since Halloween is coming up, I was curious as to what was out there and stumbled upon a Halloween prop that is suppossed to be a skinned squirrel that you can hang from your tree....now, how a dead squirrel has anything to do with Halloween is beyond me but whatever, the company who made it does alot of stuff like this for people to use to decorate and for those who run local Haunted houses too. Basically, it's a business...and apparantly someone got stupid! A user commented on their product video, telling them that the video made her cry and requesting that the company take it down and begged that for their sake, to go to a site like Peta and change. I know it's a she because I checked the Youtube page, considering that it's a Justin Beiber fan like page, my guess is that user is definitely a girl but clearly a young and naive girl. Companies who create these scary and horrific props, especially animal related ones, do not do it to be cruel, do not do it because they hate or love animals but do it because it can do well for a business like this. Making Halloween props, whether they be animatronic or not, is a business and clearly is a business that makes money and not just one that only caters to those who buy props for parties or haunted houses, some people buy Halloween props and decorations to add some flair to their own home, I know this because even I've bought Halloween stuff to use as regular decoration in my room too! Also another important point to make, the props are not made of any real animals or skin or whatever you think it appears to be, it's all fake so no animals were harmed in the making of this particular prop or any other for that reason as well. So the moral of this story: when it comes to decor, do not take it into offense especially if the holiday is Halloween!
I would have posted up the vid but considering that it does look pretty gruesome...I thought it was best not to, so if any body wants to actually see it, you'll have to find it or I can pm you the link to the vid, it took me awhile but I know how to find it again.
