While on the phone with my friend Morgan, I was searching for monsters inc books on amizon and such and I found this: www.amazon.com/Monsters-Get-Scared-School-Pictureback/dp/0736422455/ref=tag_dpp_lp_edpp_ttl_into be honest, I dont understand why Roz would be the teacher. If i can find this on a different website, I'll be able to browse through the first couple of pages. I already know that it was for kids and it was saying that even monsters get scared too and such, but why Roz as a teacher and everything?!?! I was wondering if anyone ever heard of this book. Now I must laugh my self to death cuz I'm having a terrible life right now.

Now I must laugh my self to death cuz I'm having a terrible life right now. It's for REALLY little kids, and it's meant to soothe their little kiddie fears of different situations by having familiar characters that they can relate to. Heck, even *I* would probably be a bit nervous if Roz was my teacher/instructor, NOT because she's a monster, but because she reminds me waaaaay too much of a nightmare of a Principal I had to work for, in both looks AND personality. There is actually a series of such books based on the MI characters(all Mike and Sulley, as far as I know-no Randall at all) that deal with fears like going to the dentist(Sulley's big hang-up)and dogs(Mike has a genuine phobia of dogs, as revealed in this little book and one of the Disney story collection books), all meant for very young children. pitbulllady

I was going to say it but got beat to it...so basically what PBL said. Man, and I thought I had emo trips...I seriously don't know what's bugging you now...first your stuff with your family...then the "flamming" you accused me and Veg of...seriously, I don't think your life can suck that bad. I would serioiusly think you are clinically depressed but you really don't seem the type to me. You seemed fine in other posts...I'm suspecting that your doing these kind of posts for certain reasons but hey, I could be wrong...if every little thing seems to bug you now...I don't want to know how you'll act once you become an adult but I would think that you would mature by then.

To be honest, I'm not,um,emo,is it? And that my life really sucks and that i went over to my friends house for not asking and 95% of everything that I like and that I own where WISKED away from me.I was even kicked out of the house on Friday after school cuz my mom didn't want to deal with my "bull crap" I really wish parents can understand their kids these days, and that would be alot simplier for me, cuz mah life in is the ruins. Luckliy, I'm increbly weird, and I read that part in the thred"Randall and the warrior cats" where you yelled at me, and I LAUGHED!-and I can force myself to be happy most of the time. Ah,my post didn't make any sence, but I'm going to read The New Prophecy:Warriors:Dawn AND Starlight, cuz in the library I guess they have these new warrior cat books combined in one, and I'm reading this for review. In case Veg asks me what book I'm on, I just finished Power of Three:Long Shadows.

No offense but in my house if you go over to someone's house without asking then that is considered justifiable for punishment. I personally don't get why you wouldn't ask first before going over to begain with so if you got punished due to that, there's clearly a reason for it.
I seriously need to stop talking to you...not worth my time.

Or maybe Leopardstream, you should start acting more mature and stop acting like a five-year-old child who throws a tantrum when she didn't get her way.

I am a little confused sometimes by you LS it has to be said. But in the end, you are 13 right? In the end, you'll have to wait a few years before you can't ask permission.
Also I'm 22 (23 soon!) but as I'm currently in my parents house right now until terms starts, and will actually be here probably every other weekend since I'm not that far from home this time around, while I don't have to ask PERMISSION to go out with people anymore, and haven't needed to 'ask' since 18 (unless I'm curious about getting a lift of course), I do inform them where in general I'm going, at least one or two of the people I'll be with and when I'll be back.
Just general courtesy there as well as safety -shrugs-. Also no matter what age you get sometimes your parents to just worry! It could get annoying sure, but it's important to understand their viewpoint too.

Just general courtesy there as well as safety -shrugs-. Also no matter what age you get sometimes your parents to just worry! It could get annoying sure, but it's important to understand their viewpoint too. I'm a middle-aged adult, whose father had to move in with me after I'd been on my own and supporting myself with a career for over 25 years, and I STILL tell him where I'm going and how long I expect to be gone. It's a courtesy. As for parents "not understanding kids", we adults understand you FAR better than you can imagine, LS. Remember, WE were once kids, too, and our memories aren't that tainted. YOU, on the other hand, have absolutely no clue whatsoever as to what it means to be an adult, since you have not had the experience of being one of those yet. Now, you wanna talk about life "sucking", girl? I promise I got you beat, by a long shot, and if I thought I could trade places and not have to pay bills, deal with medical issues, etc., I would do it in a heartbeat. Wanna hear some REAL problems? Let's start with the medical ones, OK? Part of growning old. Type Two Diabetes for starters, and I've been on high blood pressure meds since my mid-twenties. Chronic asthma, which my doctor now says could be a precursor to Chronic Pulmonary Disease, even though I've never smoked a day in my life. Have to take five regular prescription meds daily, for the rest of my life. THEN there's my knee-fractured knee cap, small tear in my ACL, another tear in my Lateral Meninsus muscle and Lateral-Collateral ligament, blood clot on my tibia...and NOW I have two large abcesses forming on that leg. AND I still have to go to work, from 7am to 4 pm Mon. -Fri. I have to complete a year's worth of lesson plans to turn in by next week. BILLS-Let's talk about bills, shall we? My paycheck, my sole means of financial support, has been cut by nearly $500.00 per month as of this past paycheck, while my expenses have tripled, exceeding what I'm bringing home. All those medical expenses? My insurance will only cover 25%. I have to pay the rest. I have a car payment, insurance payments, loan payments, credit card payments, light bill, water bill, cell phone bill and NOW I'm gonna have a huge hospital bill, and I can't ask mommy or daddy to cover it. I also have myself and my animals to feed and care for, and again, nobody can take care of it BUT me. I have over 300 students this nine weeks alone, and I have to contact the parents of each and every one of them by mid-September. I have over 40 students in two of my classes, Jr. High kids, YOUR age, all with issues. I have to grade papers on each and every one of them. I'm confined to a wheelchair most of the time after busting my knee, which makes doing things at work or home very painful and difficult. I've had maybe ONE good night's sleep in the past two weeks, that I didn't wake up nearly screaming with pain that nothing will relieve. If I get an hour of sleep per night I feel lucky. Now, you think you can deal with all THAT, LS? Tell you what-I'll deal with your parents if you make my car payment and pay off my hospital bill over the next year, deal? The car payment is only $389.00 per month, no biggie for you, I'm sure, though I'm sure the hospital bill is gonna be a tad bigger than that. I'll even swing the cost of my physical therapy, how 'bout that? Oh, and I'm late on a personal loan payment-had to let it slide this month due to having those unexpected medical expenses. Think you can pick it up for me? I'll let Mistica yell at ME for plagerism all she wants if you can do that. That and, my car tags and property taxes are due next month-need someone to swing that one for me, too. No big deal, right? pitbulllady
