JASON ALEXANDER AS COSMO!? XD I personally liked his acting in Seinfeld as George Costanza, and in an animated series based off of the comic Dilbert as Catbert, but I can NOT picture a guy like him being a short fairy godparent! XD

I like him, but I never imagined him as Cosmo. It's just crazy! =

Liveaction... FOP....
To be honest, I'm more weirded out by THAT, the fact they're doing this AT ALL.
Yeah. I can't see it. I mean it's pretty much all crazy over the top cartoon humour. Not sure how well live action will translate that.
Dear god, let's face it different mediums mean you can get away with DIFFERENT things. Books are a bit easier to translate into live action (even if things do get cut for obvious reasons) but given what I hear cartoons to live action have kind of... failed or not been that spectacular. The OTHER way around can sometimes work (I've heard of cartoon series from the canon of live action movies which are apparently decent) but I am exteremly doubtful over the abilities people have to do it this way round.
I still have to see The Last airbender myself (I hear different things, I hear Aang/Ong is actually pretty good from quite a few people even if he's more 'serious' then the goofy dork I love in the cartoon at least I do from some people. Plus Zuko and Iroh are decent. Plus I have a slight crush on Dev Patel. Yeah I do. Also is girlfriend is HOT. But that's unrelated to this for now. Some people disagree over Aang but I guess I'll have to see for myself. General consensus is that Katara and Sokka really suck though. But considering Katara's actress is just a kid, I think I can forgive her.)
But... TLA actually had a SHOT at being... okay/decent, I mean it was difficult, but it DID have some seriousness in the cartoon that SOME of it could have translated well neven though it was pretty obvious they WOULD have to remove some humour due to the whole different mediums/time constraints thing. I mean it has a 12 year old with the weight of the world on his shoulders and his enemy Zuko who has to struggle and eventually come down with the idea he's supossed to be Aang's friend in reality. And not before pulling some really bad things in his quest to capture him all the time while remaining someone to sympathsise with. There's an interesting story and a great yin and yang thing going on for the main protaganist and antagonist.
FOP liveaction...
I don't think so.
I mean it's like: Why? How? What?
I mean I'm guessing this will be one of those comedy movies which... fail to be funny. SOME HUMOUR DOESN'T FIT LIVE ACTION.
They're both owned by nick though, perhaps this will be the start of a whole new trend.
Dare I say... live action spongebob?

They are making a live-action smurfs right now, so little surprises me. Still, I really didn't see this one coming. Not at all.
