Since we *don't* know what the sequal may hold- or even when it be set- I throw up some quick ideas of what Boo might be like in the future. 1) Nothing's changed. Still 2ish and adorable. 2) Small child now, same personality. Remembers 'Kitty' and everything. Talks! 3) Pre-teen, 11 or 12. Bit like Violet. Quiet and artisy, written off with her head-in-the-clouds due to constant dreaming- or is it really a memory?- of a big, blue Kitty and a different world... 4) Teenager: V.1: Vapid, pretty, peppy- the usual cheerleader model. Very girly. Remembers nothing, somehow gets into the M.W. Merry adventures! V.2: Goth as Goth can be. Bad attitude. bad posture. Heavy makeup. Mohawk. Secret tat of a purple lizard... and enough piericings to attract magnets from 30 paces. In short, the kind of kid you avoid at lunch. Very angry for reasons she can't remember- a deep feeling of loss and abandonment that can't be explained normally. Reunions with Kitty somehow and through adventure resolves her anger and softens. V.3: Connections-style. (See for reference) Fun, crazy, caring, enthustic- doesn't remember much about the Monster World, but still manages to find a way to help lost Monsters. Maybe redems Randall? I especially like how Teen.V.3 turned out. =D I doubt M2 will go in that direction. What do you guys think?

It would be SO nice if I could actually see this, but my &*^%ing AT&T so-called "Fast Access DSL"(my butt!)is still screwed up and has been for nearly two weeks now. Some pages will load, others not, and they all take FOREVER! If there is a pic, or a video, forget about it! All it will load of this one on either this board or DA is just the very, very top, enough to see Boo's pony tails. AT&T keeps telling us they're "working on it". They suck, big time. I'm missing out on a lot of artwork and photos and I can't upload anything of my own right now.
I'm sure this pic is really good, though I sincerely hope that IF Pixar goes with the whole "Teen Boo" idea that it's neither v.1 OR v.2, or if they do go for the whole "Goth Boo" that she's more like Abby on "NCIS", very happy with herself and her appearance, not ashamed of anything and not trying to hide behind anything. Abby is still Goth yet she's also outgoing and happy-go-lucky, more like the "Connections" Universe Boo, who just happens to sleep in a coffin(for theraputic reasons)and have a black spider web tattooed on her neck. She shows that a person CAN be Goth and still be happy and well-balanced.

I actually find the preppy version more terrifying than the extreme goth version myself lol. Maybe it's to do with the fact that while I didn't grow up in America and I never saw anyone THAT far along on the spectrum... well, there were people just more likely to make your life hell than the ones with the multiple piercings you sometimes saw in the world. I love how you did V3 XD. I could see her doing that somehow and trying to wear it to school. To be frank though I've flicked through fashion shows for a few minutes and some of those hats are CRAZY. It's like they have trouble getting through the lift/elevator door. I actually saw this last night (was up late) and ended up having a weird hald daydream about it actually. She got into trouble with a gym teacher or something about it who grabbed her by her school blazer in the halls (her school has uniforms), and she starting saying the school rules technically said NOTHING about hats you made yourself, sure it was against baseball caps and various others but this was a hat which defied description AND the rules said nothing about a hat you made yourself, and in fact it could also be called an accessory) (Lawyer genes coming out?! IDK.) Then I had another weird half day dream about her falling asleep in history class and the teacher saying the last essay she had handed in had things which never happened in it. She'd written things based on some monster world history by mistake though the teacher gave her another chance to write it and told her to get some sleep and to 'lay off the Sci Fi and fantasy movies and online gaming' or to use the ideas for 'english class'. Because Boo's history teacher is apparently while strict kind of awesome too. LOL. I also think the 7 1/2 year old one is very cute as well as the preteen dreamer one. I somehow hope they use the 7 and a half year old version, or that one... or the V3 (or as PBL said something like Abby who I have only seen a little of since being told my Boo is like her and I quite like her.) But overall I'd say the 7 year old is most likely.

Sorry for the late reply, stuff came up, got glasses so I can actually read this...
Ah, nutbunnies, Lady, sorry to hear that-any change? I usually head to the library when the internet's acting up and use their computers... I've nothing against goths (in fact, I'm rather "goth" myself) but I thought the standard "Hollywood Angry Punk" would one end of the possible extreme temperament and the other end would be the "Hollywood Girly Girl". XD (thank you)
lol. I know the feeling, preppy people are far more terrifying... that blank... look in their eyes... ugh! Not my crowd, though I swear I've seen more intelligent plant-life.
I can see Boo recycling that strange old "Halloween" costume, so at least she has an excuse, unlike those crazy designers. I swear I saw a woman with hair that weighed more than she did in a rubber sack and heels... the things they do to those women...
Ha! Lawyer genes, totally. It's a genetic predisposition to arguing.
LOL
Thanks. Yeah, a 7-year-old Boo is most likely I think-though that voice at the end sounded old- but I wouldn't say no to a cute goth girl Boo... especially with a half-purple, half relaxed mohawk! The other day I saw a little boy who couldn't be more than six running around with mohawk, it was the most adorable thing EVER.

Aw that kid does sound cute. But yeah I kind of see the version of my teen Boo just going with what she likes, if she went through a goth thing, she went through a goth thing but she'd probably still be pretty cheerful!
And if people tried to pick on her she's more the type to laugh and then would be your friend anyway later on.
I just somehow have this version of her perhaps going behind such a preppy person talking to someone new:
"Oh her in the stupid hat? That's Gibbs, she's kind of a weirdo but she's harmless." and putting her arm around her and going "Hey, having fun talking about me behind my back?" but not seeming that bothered at all and even smiling looking amused about it.
Or: "Hey I take objection to that!... I like my hat."
I imagine said newer person she's 'explaing' Mary to being surprised she's not fighting her off though and just seems to be going with it.
Possibly some cheerleader or someone preppy who might eventually admit. "Bah, she bugs the hell out of you sometimes but she seems to grow on you... like a fungus."
Boo: "That's beautiful dude. I love you too."
But yeah overall I think in the movie they'll have her pretty young really she'd be almost four by the time Sulley saw her again though so I'm wondering if they might just take it even before that age? Like when she's 5 or 6 or something?
I don't know, but yeah having her young but older obviously than in the movie would make the most sense. Inklings of how her relationship with Sulley is maybe. I mean her parents... what about them?
(The fact her parents are never shown really bugs me for some reason, given the fact there's a whole story there... I mean she was gone for a day, there has to have been some reprecussions from that.)
(I'll also be... pretty annoyed if they keep her the exact same age as in the first movie because that doesn't exactly work.)
