I might pick up Good Omens sometime then! It sounds really great. My main problem with American Gods was that the main character (Was his name Shadow?) was kind of bland and boring to me.

YOU MUST READ GOOD OMENS!
It's a book about the apocolypse.
With humour!
There's an angel and demon who team up because they don't want the world to end. They're also technically the serpant and the angel who guarded the tree of life too. Their uh 'friendship' (but they refuse to call themselves friends if I recall) is pretty dang hilarious. I love their chemistry it's so hilarious. XD. That's the Arrangement! Crowly (demon/Flash Bastard, The) and Aziraphale (angel/Southern Pansy, The) have basically formed it out of countless wile/twort, visits to St. James' Park and getting drunk off their @r$es for centuries. The BEST friendship ever! (I heard WoG states they get a cottage together somewhere near Tadfield). Plus there's the Bentley, the richard Turpin, the Order of the Chattering Nuns, the case of the mixed up Antichirsts, professional desendants and the Four Horsem- Persons of the Apocolypse- Yes, you really must read it!! Go look at the library for it! I liked 'American Gods' for the cast of characters more than for Shadow. The world is really fansinating to me. Have you ever read 'Stardust'? It's rather sadder than the movie in places, but still a pretty good read.

I LOVE Aziraphale... he's such a... wet blanket... XD. And obsessed with books! I love the idea of him giving evil glares to customers who DARE try to buy his precious books.
And Crowley is definitly a close second to my favourite. But in any case if BOTH of them weren't in it the book wouldn't be half as good. They make me crack up I swear.
Living in a cottage together?!
...
AWESOME. THEY'D DRIVE EACH OTHER CRAZY!
Or at least Crowly would drive Aziraphale nuts. Though I kind of see them as almost being soul mates.
Platonically or not, they're meant for one another. They both hung out on earth too long and now they've 'caught' too many things from humans.
Read Stardust too, it's good but yeah sad.
Gaiman also did comic books, but I haven't read them myself.

I've read Sandman, his comics, and they're amazing. The only downside is that they're very expensive. The absolute volumes are $100 each and I'm pretty sure there are 4 all together. My library only has the first two

They would be *perfect* roomies, or the worst ever. Either way, the garden will be the envy of all the neighbours XD
I've seen Sandman in the bookstore and always meant to pick it up... I don't think the library stocks it. 'S shame because it sounds reallly good.
