To build background, back when I was making a submission for the Pixar Planet video contest which got abandoned because too few participated, I was asking for advice from TSS on how to make my video suitable for the Halloween feel. What he recommended was, instead of proving that he wasn't evil, that I prove he WAS. I disregarded that at the time, thinking it was just an innocent alternate look at things. Well, now his PM makes sense. TSS has recently made a video about the villains of Pixar. Yep, you guessed it, Randall's labeled as one. One doesn't even need to access the Video subforum; he's even got Randall thrown in among others in his signature (by the way, where's Waternoose in that picture?)! And this whole time I thought he was one of the MILDER members of Pixar Planet! I have posted a response to this in his own videos thread, and I would appreciate it if anyone could back me up if the time comes.

This is going to be tense, alright; TSS is now back online, most likely having been notified of a new post in his thread.

Well, saw his vid, it was actually pretty good although I do have a few gripes about it...
First, he used both Disney and Pixar's banner...I personally don't get why he did after all, the amv was done by him, not these two companies so I guess we're looking at possible copyright infringement.
Two, he used the song "Headstrong" by Trapt, an awsome bad a$$ song but doesn't fit the theme of the vid which was villians, trust me there are other rock songs out there that would be better suited.
Three, he used the censored version, why the hell did he do that?! "Headstrong" only has one cuss word in it, just one! It doesn't have the f-bomb, it doesn't use racial slurs so why use the censored version, I think it would have sounded a little better if the version of the song was the uncut version because once again, only one cuss word is in the damn song!
Otherwise than that, he did just fine.

I could have told you that, as TSS was once one of Randall's most vocal haters on Pixar Planet. In fact, a couple of the Mods and I, who attended the premier of Cars together at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in NC, talked about how immature he(TSS)was at the time in his inability to accept that people were not so cut-and-dry "evil" or "good". pitbulllady

How old is the TSS PBL? Didn't know you guys met up for that. Was it fun otherwise? TSS was 16 when Cars was released here in the US, so you can take it from there. All three of us were at least legal adults, and we talked about how he exhibited that "know-everything" attitude that so many teens fall victim to, when they've had 0 experience to back it up. But, yes, we had a great time, even though a tornado touched down a few miles away while we were waiting on the show to begin and the storm delayed everything and I was the only one who knew anything about NASCAR. pitbulllady

I viewed the video and wouldn't take it too seriously myself- after all he put... DARLA there (the girl from Finding Nemo and her Dentist Uncle... hardly see her or the dentist as evil, granted they aren't in the signature of course).
Randall is probably there because he's the one with more screen time.
And on the topic in PP- I don't deny myself that Randall had a choice either... but once he made that choice he didn't have much of a choice to turn his back- and I have my doubts that I would not do similar things in the same position.
In other words- once he took that FIRST choice, it resulted in a literal cascade of many on his last day and probably prior. He had choices certainly- it wasn't like Waternoose was literally using some device to mind control him like a zombie- but still it's not hard to imagine normal everyday people making similar choices or behaviours in reterospect really. -- So he's at least 19 now- since Cars was released in 2006.
Granted, I kind of have found myself more at odds with little_chef_eva09 there in PP more, I feel an... undercurrent of disapproval at me sometimes, though I don't want to turn this into a B****ing about PP thread at all. But I expressed some concerns about the originality of Up versus M.I. in terms of Waternoose/Muntz, Boo/Kevin situations, and she was pretty condescending in general (and I think she was the one in the thread I did about saying something bad about your favourite film and something good about your least favourite who was doing the eye rolling)-OTHER posters in the Up thread helped elliviate some of my fears and made me feel a BIT better about the Up movie (and even conceded, some of them to the fact that there is a degree of speciseism, well some of them, and the others which disagreed were at least more polite unlike her).
She just seemed to be being a bit rude, while tacking on 'no offence' as if it was okay then. It kind of annoyed me more than I let on actually but I let it slide for the most part, but she baffles me in general; a little bit- she kind of can get a bit judgemental and jumped to the conclusion that the only reason I mentioned M.I. was because it was my favourite- rather than the fact that it was directed by the SAME PERSON was the REAL reason I was mentioning it in comparison to Up (and my attention was drawn indirectly by the fact M.I. was my favourite movie, because M.I has my favourite characters and the most interesting world) and so some of the similarities in Up (albeit it while being less dramatic in execution and premise), did bug me a tad- like they were trying to have a similar 'good no wait he's NOT'...antagonist character (Waternoose) but without the emotional 'blow to the gut' it probably gave many people when Sulley was betrayed by someone he saw like a father etc among other things which made Muntz a weaker character to me.
But meh. At least the OTHER posters however are better at going about discussing it with me and have lowered some of my weird thoughts surrounding Up (though not all of them).
