First of all, sorry to everyone that I haven't been around too much the past few days; I've finally found a way to replace the music in Halo, which, unfortunately, is very time-consuming. I'm not even close to done yet.  Anyway, as for this thread, a few days ago I found a comment on my "Not Evil" video. It asked if there was a chance that Pixar would make Randall into a 2D character bloodthirsty for revenge in the sequel. WE know that that is certainly possible unless we do something, but I don't know what to say to them to keep them from getting the wrong message (i.e. saying that my video is pointless).  |

It is a difficult answer to give. Ran's treatment in other Pixar-esque material has shown that the 2-D form is likely. However, it's not a complete certainty. As stated with the BOOM! comics, Pixar may be unaware of some factors. Now this may be doubtful, however, with what is going on in Japan....
It's essentially a standstill. It's unknown exactly what direction they will take. But from what's being shown so far, it's moving more toward the 2-D thing.

Well, we DON'T know how much Pixar was involved over Tokyo Disney....to me, it's possible they themselves still might be faithful...
Anyway, bottom line: what should I say to this person, if anything?

Compareing the projects, the one in Tokyo Disney was far bigger...
*folds arms* The mood is rather indecisive. Supporting a pro-Ran option is good, but not so rough as to declare Pixar is completely supporting a 2-D future for him.

Well...if it were me, I would tell the person that there is a possibility of that happening and due to that possibility that is why you put up the vid and are part of the campaign (assuming that the person knows about it)...but like I said that's along the lines of what I would say.

Alright, here's what I wrote. "Pretty much anyone will agree that he would probably be out for revenge at least initially in a sequel. However, I also believe that there IS a chance of him regretting it and getting redeemed." |
