He's my most favorite character in the whole WIDE WORLD!!! He was created in November 18, 1928 in his increasingly successful cartoon, Steamboat Willie! BUT! That wasn't the first Mickey Mouse cartoon. Plane Crazy was the first, then Gallopin' Guacho the second, but Steamboat Willie was the third and became a success to Walt Disney. It was known as the FIRST cartoon with synchronized sound!
But then he evolved forms through time. He had a rubber hose kind of body, and, if you didn't know, Mickey's shape used to be traced by coins to get the round shape.
But after Donald Duck's debut in 1934's The Wise Little Hen, he had the spotlight for quite a long time, and Walt didn't want to see his own character die. So, he was put as a special character in 1940's Fantasia in the Sorcerer's Apprentice sequence, which marked the first time he was given more expressive eyes, cheeks and a more believable body(how he looks like now).
But... as the years passed, Mickey got more and more famous, but sadly... he is not anymore... all because of stupid MILEY CYRUS, HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL, AND- y'know what? I'LL BLAME ALL OF DISNEY CHANNEL!
I just hope that Epic Mickey gives Mickey Mouse his fame he'd gotten back in the 20's... thank you! ;D

i see that you've heard about the upcoming game, I'm pretty excited for it since it looks like it'll be an interesting Wii title...I have noticed that receantly Mickey Mouse has seemed to be pushed aside, of course, he's not the only one, other icons that would include Warner's own Bugs Bunney also have due to the fact that the world and times are changing and sadly sometimes, unless you learn to change and adapt with them, well, then you will be left behind. It's that reason alone why gaming icons recieve so many changes over the course of years, it's so they can keep up although there will always be things about the characters that never changes despite how much their appearance changes.
I just would like if there was more info on the game then what I have already seen but we won't know more until it gets closer to the release date.

Only thing is... I dun have a Wii... Well...as far as what system it will be on, I know that it is guaranteed for the Wii although on the TNBC site that I'm a member of (it's there where I first heard about it), some people were saying that they read possible rumors about it coming out on other platforms besides the Wii. Now, keep in mind, this is just a rumor, it's not guaranteed so don't get false hope about it but who knows, if Microsoft or Sony find the game of interest that they would like a version for their consoles released then it might happen...if not then it may just be a Wii exclusive.

Yeah... but I still think that whatever they choose is probably what they think is best... but on the other hand... Disney has made a LOT of mistakes during the past years... an example: DISNEY CHANNEL.

Alot of these mistakes that you are talking about are based from one thing and that's conforming with what's in now if you will. Companies, no matter what kind, do this all the time. Movie, television, and even videogames will try to change and conform with what's popular, what's in, and what the fan base wants to see in order to stay in business. When it comes to a target audience, sometimes the best target audience for some companies is the pre teen/teen audience but every generation is different as far as what's popular and what's not. You're probably a year or two younger than my younger brother (19), your generation and what's considered popular varies a little from my generation. My generation which was mainly that of the 90's, were into certain things if you will but yours is probably not into those same sort of things. Here's one example, when I was young, one of the most popular shows on Nickelodeon was stuff like Kenan and Kel, All That, and that's just naming a few. What's in now? Shows like iCarly which stemed from Drake and Josh. Now in my opinion, iCarly is okay but Drake and Josh, I personally didn't see it as very funny but my younger brother (12) thought it was hilarious...of course he had never seen the original All That or even Kenan and Kel so he really didn't realize how unfunny Drake and Josh was. Like I said, it's changing and conforming to keep that target audience, another thing you could blame is competition. Don't forget that Disney does have some rivals such as Nickelodeon for example and it's not too unusual for companies to release something to get one up on their rivals.
