I can't get on; I get an error message telling me that I "don't have permission to access forums on this server". Never got that before, not even when the forums were undergoing maintainance or whatever. I wanted to see if I'm the only one who can't get on the forum. The last time I tried was at 11:50 am today, just a few minutes ago.

I just looked it up (haven't been on there in a while) and got similar results. Maybe it's just down for now. Puzzling.

I also get the same message too. It exactly states: Forbidden You don't have permission to access /forums/ on this server. Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Apache/2.2.11 (Unix) mod_ssl/2.2.11 OpenSSL/0.9.8j DAV/2 mod_auth_passthrough/2.1 mod_bwlimited/1.4 FrontPage/5.0.2.2635 Server at www.pixarplanet.com Port 80 Anyone on the board speak computer maybe can do an exact translation? Although on another note, I don't visit this site Pixar Planet on a regular basis or anything, do we know if non members can access their forums or not? I have been on websites where you have to be registered members in order to view forums, is this the case or not?

Funny. I got the same issue, and I log myself in manually! Something tells me its a problem with Pixar Planet as opposed to a problem with our own computers.

I can't access either. It seemed to occur this morning 12am. Because before then I was able to access and was posting. I couldn't find anything on their site about an overhaul last night, but hope that's all it is.
I'm computer savey, but code can be difficult. I was continuely logged-in so it's nothing to do with registered members. It seems that this was put up to block anybody but Moderators and above. Hence the mod_auth_passthrough....Moderator Authorization Passthrough, which I would guess means that. Bwlimited, probably means Bandwidth limited...so means it's limited to them. *blinks* Wow...better than I thought 0_0 So it seems the board is down either due to server issues (probably) or an overhaul, and that the "higher ups" are the only ones allowed in so that they could either fix the problem or start the haul.

This happened awhile back, when that board was on another server, because one of the owners didn't pay the bill. A bunch of others got together and pooled their resources and bought the site from him, and changed servers. Hopefully it's nothing like that, just some glitch that can be worked out soon. I didn't see anything on the forum about any expected downtimes, though, so I'd guess that whatever happened, did so out of the blue.

There IS, however, a "Contact Us" page on the Pixar Planet site (not forum). If this server issue doesn't resolve soon then somebody can try and ask them.

Huh, so it's broke. Wonder what the problem is?

The Planet's back up....I think. The names of the most recent posts that usually appear on the right are missing. Trying to find the post about the access...but nothing.
