I was watching an episode of The View when they talked about some youtube video that has been getting quite some attention in it. It's appearantly a confrontation between some guy mouthing off to another on the second guy's property. Video really doesn't get interesting until near the end of it but it was still kind of funny. Here's the link in case anybody is interested. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UK-H6Ll6Z8c

Whoa, big guy's not so big anymore. That guy really brought him down to size. I wonder what the fight was over. I guess I'll contribute with a video as well. My favorite from jonlajoie. Somewhat mature and very stupid, but funny overall. I kill people.

Oh man, your video was funny, . As for the dispute between the two guys in my vid, I have no idea what the fight was about. Although according to the hosts of The View, the guy in the black shirt not only was a war vet but also a two-degree black belt! Is you ask me, loud mouthed guy picked the wrong person to mess with.

Okay, I was posting upon the LDD forums and a fellow boardie posted this up and personally, I couldn't believe what I was reading here. There's a seller on ebay trying to get rid of an LDD that they are convinced is CURSED! Now, I know that no one else here are collectors so not sure if this would interest anybody but I can say this now, I am a collector of these dolls, I own about six of them and I have never dealt with any curses because of them. It seems to me that this person either has just some rotten luck or their brother who was the original owner of the doll obviously should have made some better life choices, either way, it seems rather ridiculous to me. At the time of this post, the seller has only shown that this doll will be taken off this wednesday so just letting you guys know if you happen to look at this past that date. cgi.ebay.com/living-dead-doll-SADIE-series-1-this-doll-is-cursed_W0QQitemZ160375492202QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item25571fce6aHere's basically what he says (I'm only posting this in case anyone looks at this past the doll's last day on Ebay): living dead doll SADIE series 1 >>this doll is cursed!! HAUNTED LIVING DEAD DOLL *BLACK MAGIC* This particular doll has something evil about it. My brother is a practitioner of black magic. we lived together several years ago and had a bad falling out. He left this doll in my house, and ever since I have had nothing but bad luck. Ive lost pretty much everything that was dear to me in the last 3 yrs. I blame this doll. I am selling it in hopes that my life can return to normal. Please take it off my hands! I'm not a doll collector nor do I possess any knowledge of Living Dead Dolls. This is a used doll. It has been in its box ever since I found it. Its still attached to its coffin. The box has scratches on it. If you are the winning bidder, please understand that this item is for sale AS IS and is not refundable. If you place a bid on this item you must understand that this doll is "cursed" and agree to the terms of sale. Thanks for taking this wretched doll off my hands. Now please pardon me while I laugh, I still can't believe what this person posted. Also, on the terms of remarks relating to other threads, let's not use terms like EMO-DORK! Some of us who live the emo like lifestyle do find it offense, thank you.

That's rather humorous. I think the person is just doing it as a joke to try to sell the doll for more than he could normally get it for or is very superstitious. Are you thinking about bidding on it for laughs?

Are you thinking about bidding on it for laughs? Hmm, tempting offer but no, another boardie on the LDD forums has already been dared to do it and I think he might, besides, I would be skeptical about a doll that the picture of it isn't the whole doll. Also, everytime I try to do bids, I swear it happens everytime, somebody then goes through a bid war with me and I always lose. Still, what would really be amusing if we can assume that this person is only saying this just to sell the doll for higher money since it's by bid only, it would be funny if whomever bought it would actually contact him with a fake e-mail later claiming that the doll has ruined their life, lol, that would be funny. Oh man, now that I have brought it up, I do feel a little tempted to go after this doll, hmm, but I'm low on cash though, would need to put more on my little walmart card and make an account with Ebay, Bampot, what do you think?

Perhaps watch it until the bid is almost over. If it's still a reasonable price. go for it. I don't really use e-Bay and I know I would get very frustrated with the bidding. I would always use the buy now prices just to avoid a bid war.

Hmm, that would sound like a good idea but what I find kind of strange is that this doll only has three bidders, none of them have tried to constantly outbid each other and for this type of doll, that would be strange. Sadie is not only a series one doll ( there are 18 series to date) but also the first of that series to be made. Call me skeptical but I as a collector find it awfully strange that no one is chasing after her. This is not to say that I believe this whole story about the cult related brother but it makes you think. One of the other LDD boardies did point out that there are things out there far from the norm that can't be explained.
Also, I talked with my mother, she did tell me that people who practice this black magic do what they call placing curses which they tend to put upon objects. She also told me that objects with a history do seem to carry this history with them wherever they go. If this guy's story is true then it is strange that out of all his brother's belongings, only his brother left this doll. Once again, call me skeptical, but if this guy is for real, then this doll may not be worth it. As a Hispanic, I will admit that I can get a little superstitious, we are a very superstitious race after all. Heck, I remember one time that our priest told us about how he was sent to a Latino home to bless their house because they said that there was a phantom, while he was there, a particular picture kept falling down. Quite normal actually until the final time that it fell, the dang thing shot across to the end of the room and he even saw it do that. After that, he had suggested to them the name of another priest who was far more experienced with this sort of thing.
I'm probably better off waiting for the Alice in Wonderland set that Mezcotoyz will be releasing which features Sadie dressed as Alice, better safe than sorry.

Yes, certain objects can have certain ties to them. That's how a lot of hauntings happen. A spirit will get attached to something, could be anything, and follows that object. Sometimes they even follow people. So maybe it would be for the best if you didn't associate yourself with the doll. Just out of precaution.

Well, now since that determines that, Bampot, you have got to see this video I found on Youtube posted by a user called Lord Vega. He does "Let's play" on his page and I swear, this guy is hilarious. I have watched two of his LP's, the one on Alice and SH3 which he did blind. Still, out of all of his SH3 vids, this is has got to be the funniest. Okay, basically he's doing this one puzzle and it takes him nearly the whole vid to do and since I have never played Silent Hill myself, I remember being as clueless as him when I watched this vid for the first time. Still, it is hilarious, if you're into watching LP's then his are worth it, so funny! www.youtube.com/watch?v=BATiEPsWMEY

Lol, I'm watching it as I post. I'm letting it load a bit right now. I love his comment on the numb bodies. "They're like fish with legs. I'm sorry, but that's not intimidating." Soooo true.
"The Key Taken With Tongs, that's just the name of the key." I nearly cried XD
I hated that book puzzle. Mostly because I didn't see the note and didn't know it had to do with books. I assumed, which is stupid, that those books on the floor were just for effect. Walked around the mall for about an hour. Then my cousin comes over and does it in a second. I felt stuuuupiiiiid. I was laughing so hard when that guy couldn't see the one on the books and he was freaking out. That was priceless.
God, I hated that whole mall. There were so many things in it that didn't make sense. My game time was 8 hours and, not lie, 3-4 hours of that was useless time I spent wondering around the mall doing nothing. Most of it was not realizing that the freaking rock was a key to the boss door. After that it was pretty easy. Well, mostly because I printed out a walkthrough XD
Something about that guys voice made everything so much funnier XD

Well, mostly because I printed out a walkthrough XD Something about that guys voice made everything so much funnier XD Lol, I know, that's what kept me watching his vids, his voice just makes it so much funnier than other LP's that I've seen. He seems to be quite popular too, he has tons of subscribers and gets all kinds of comments on his vids. After watching his whole LP, man it wasn't just the mall that didn't make sense, there's a part where he's at a carnival of some kind (since you played the game then you probably got an idea of what I mean) that he goes through this haunted house and dies because of some light. When I was watching that, he's all like, "What?! I got killed by the red light?" My thoughts were... okay, that made no sense, what was the red light? Why was it there? In that vid, there's also a part in the haunted house where a fake hangman falls and the narrator says "This is Danny" and Lord Vega's all like "Hi Danny", just the comedic timing was hilarious. Still, that part with the books is understandable, sometimes depending on the scenery you don't always notice things like that and also backtracking. Some of our games like Metroid Prime 2 or RE that my brother and I were doing so much backtracking and sometimes, you just want to scream. Still, what's funny about the book puzzle, it takes him nearly the whole vid to solve it but almost all the other puzzles after that, just seconds for him to solve, XD. www.youtube.com/watch?v=JhhpFVEyeSQHere's the vid about that red light thing, it's not as funny as the last vid but still, out of all the things to kill you in this game, one of them had to be a red light?

I'll have to check out the rest of his videos when I have time. I'm loading the Haunted Mansion one now. That was a great part of the game just because it was so odd. It's something that made the third game really stand out to me. I think I'll watch the one with Stanly next. I'd like to see this guys comments on it. It was just something I remembered most from the game.
You're in the hospital on the insane ward and you keep getting letters and dolls from this guy named Stanly. He used to be a patient there and he was put there for raping young girls I think. I can't really remember because It's been around 3-4 years since I've last played it. Anywho, it was just really creepy. You would be in a room, walk out, then walk back in a couple minutes later and see a letter and a doll. And he'll be talking about how he's watching you. Then, when you go into the cell they kept him in, you can hear him whisper Heather's name. Just a really nice effect.
Lol, I'm watching it now.
Mansion guy: Help, help, those were the voices- Vega: That was you >:V
"Well a broken lock, com on now!"
When the red fog kills him XD
"I'm not even going to bother fighting you because you're way too big."
I'm going to go ahead and try to watch the rest of the game before I leave. These are really great. Thanks for showing them to me :3

Yeah, that was funny when the red fog/light kills him, he's all like "Are you serious, game, are you serious!" Cracks me up, I swear. XD

Does this topic have to relate to YouTube, out of curiosity? It's not that I don't like this topic; rather, I have something I feel is funny, but, unless someone has a video about it, it is not on YouTube. Also, I couldn't suppress a giggle myself, Mistica.
