The first one is an actual screen grab, but the last two are just webpages with TONS of other Blu-Ray stuff, no pics, no links to pics, either. The only M.I. link I found was on the second one and that was to the Amazon.com.UK page where you can buy the disc, and the only pic it has is of the cover art. I'm hoping to be able to afford a Blu-Ray player by the time this disc is released here in the US, so that I too, can stare at high-def pics of Randall all day! Even in this one clip that does show up, you can see so much more detail, like all those scars.
Speaking of screen grabs, did you ever get a chance to get more captures from "Pinball Panic"? There's some really good detail in those, too, that you can't see in the movie, plus it captures Randall in a far different mood than what we see in most of the movie. This is what I tend to think of as the REAL Randall, before he got involved with the Scream Extractor. Everyone needs to see that.

Sorry, I haven't had the chance to get anymore captures Sorry, I completely forgot. Um, here's the link to the review that the other links are SUPPOSED to go too. Also does some comparison to the DVD picture. The DVD is supposedly one of the best pictures in DVD though so, I'm not complaining about that. It's just Blu Ray makes it look so much sharper with no blurs. www.dvdbeaver.com/film/DVDCompare11/monsters-inc.htm

I would too ... if I could... that is if I had a PS3/Blu Ray player which I unfortunately do not have. *sighs* I don't think that is going to change any time soon either, because I'm more on the side of getting a Nintendo Wii for Christmas then something like a PS3. Nevermind, I can dream can't I, heh.

While I am excited to also get the blu-ray disc of the movie, I'm going to be honest here. Maybe it's just me but I really don't see much of a difference between the regular DVD caps and the blu-ray ones! I kind of don't get the whole blu-ray thing but like I said, maybe it's just me.

It depends on your monitor as to whether or not you can see a difference. On this computer I'm using right now, an old Gateway at work, with a big old clunky 15" monitor, I can't see any difference at all, but at home, on my 23" HD flat screen monitor, I can see quite a lot of differences! What I'm most interested in is whether or not there is any material that is not on the DVD, which I have, things like unreleased scenes or extras, or any information on the sequel. I suspect that Disney-Pixar is probably waiting until the Blu-Ray is released in the US to make that official announcement of the sequel, since they haven't said anything to quell those rumor, as they usually do when things like that get going around the 'net.

I actually think the only material that is not on the DVD, is the tour around the new ride at Tokoyo. Although, I think the outtakes and trailer are in high definition too.

Keep in mind that there are several different versions, based on region of release, of the Blu-Ray just as there are with DVD's. Great Britain/Europe won't have the same version as Japan, or as the US/Canada. There will be differences in them all. pitbulllady

Well, pitbulllady, you are probably right about the monitor thing as far as that goes. Maybe I'll be able to compare the difference much better when it does come out, I'll be able to try and watch both the original my family owns and the blu-ray disc that I'll be planning to buy but as far as seeing differences, it is hard for me to tell that sort of thing because in my house, instead of having the blu-ray player hooked to a tv like a normal family, my dad has it hooked up to his favorite "toy", the projector screen. I only own one blu-ray movie, FF7:ACC and I really couldn't see much differences between that and my original copy of FF7:AC but hey, that's just me for you. As far as any added features, one thing I would like to see is the other language tracks for the film such as the spanish or even french language track and not some stupid language reel feature! I will admit that after I have seen a movie in english I do enjoy watching it in other languages especially if it's in spanish. Although I'm hispanic, I really can't speak the language to save my life but I can understand little pieces of it and I do like seeing the differences in translation from the original english dialogue. That is one feature I know I would love to see in the upcoming blu-ray release.

Well, I am a FF7 fan but how I'm a fan is considered a little strange. I actually became a fan because of the movie Advent Children, not because of the game. Since we mainly grew up as a Nintendo family, I never played FF7 unfortunately. I almost didn't even buy the movie but a guy in a computer class that I took my senior year had helped changed my mind. He was a big Cloud Strife fan and knew so much about the character. In fact, I remember about how I was always bugging him with questions about the character after I had to fight Cloud in KH:COM. When the movie came out on DVD, I bought it even though I almost couldn't find it. After watching it, I was pretty glad that I had listened to the guy and saw what he was talking about when it comes to Cloud and what makes the character popular among FF fans. Also on another note, nice to know that you're the kind of guy who seems to have no problem with me being a girl gamer, that is really nice to know!

That's cool! On the subject of the Blu-ray, was doing a little surfing on the net after I got back from work today. The American release is set for November 10 of this year. According to Disneystore.com, the blu-ray will be a four disc set with Disney digital copy included. I even double checked other sites such as Best buy, they also have up at least the release date for the movie as well. Hopefully, this is the date that Disney will stick with and hopefully won't push it back for any reasons. As for the release in other countries, I'm afraid I don't have that for members who are outside the U.S. Overall, thought I'd give a heads up to those interested in buying the blu-ray disc.
