Workstation has control panel, special telephone receiver to fit any monster's head, "To be scared" and "Scared" boxes. Factory has 8 floors, 120 scare floors. Each floor has 13 door stations (1560 Scarers at once). One scream canister holds enough power for a house to run 2 days.

Hmm... I'm just having a little ponder as to what all of the buttons on the control pad configure. Some of course are obvious, like the 'Eject' and the 'Fitz' I think is to make the connection between the two worlds. Having a closer look at some of the other buttons though, they are pretty hard to make out .

I'm honestly I'm unsure myself. I'm sure Randall does know how to work the panel works, though you might have to forgive him, his work memory is a bit fizzy. I think the three controls on the right control the door's lowering and locking procedure....as for the others.... And I'm sure one of the devices intiate power-flow to the canister...as well as whatever is the "collector" for scream energy. I do think Fizt, proper spelled mind you, has something to do with the two worlds too...and works in conjuction with the activation light on the door.

That would be most probable. Thanks for correcting that spelling mistake ;D. Trouble is, we do hardly see clearly what the other buttons are for since during the movie, they are hardly ever used.

No problemo. I'm sure many of the buttons are secured to how the station would work. Honestly think some secure the link of hoses to the canister, and whatever collects the screams. Others might be for emergency procedures...like if the door locks there's an override or something...

Each floor has 13 door stations (1560 Scarers at once). One scream canister holds enough power for a house to run 2 days. This is what makes it so improbable-no, IMPOSSIBLE-that James P. Sullivan could have legitimately been "Employee of the Month" for a whole YEAR, uninterrupted! That's one thousand sixty Scarers working at any one time, multiplied by the various shifts(most factories have three, so you can triple that figure), and that's just SCARERS; that doesn't count the PR folks, the ones in Personel/Hiring, the janitors, the technicians and mechanics, the Accountants, the ones in Payroll Services, the Insurance people, the Scare Assistants, the Secretaries and other Assistants, the EM/Medical folks, the day care center lady, the Research & Development people(the LEGAL ones), the attorneys, the people in Sales and Marketing, the BOD, the Executives like CEO's(most companies also have more than one), CFO's, President, Vice-President, Assistant Vice-President, and of course, the "road crews"-all those Linemen and people who actually have to go out into the communities, inspecting and repairing the electrical lines and sub-stations, the ones who are really on the spot after storms or other natural disasters, and those meter readers who have to go and collect information from customers about how much power they used during the month. Then, there's the Dispatch crews who handle and field those emergency calls and direct the repair crews where to go, if they can't handle the situation at the factory. When you think about how many people that actually is, it's mind-boggling...and even moreso to just accept that out of ALL those employees, ONE GUY kept getting "Employee of the Month" each month for a whole YEAR?! No one can tell me that SOMETHING wasn't very, very wrong with that, or that Randall didn't have every right and reason to be upset about it! pitbulllady

Which is why it annoyed Randall so much. It was High Schoool all over again. The popular kids were always the noticed ones and he was the outcast.
