My sister came over for a brief visit today, bringing her two little girls, Sydney(age 6, the red-head), and Ellie(age 4, the one with glasses). This was the first time they'd come over while I was here and they could actually get to hold some of my snakes. Sydney has always been fascinated by snakes, like me, and gets mad as a hornet if somebody kills one(she's got a red-head's temper, too, just like her aunt). My sister thought that the younger one, Ellie, would be scared of them, but that turned out to SO not be the case! Both were eager to touch and hold the snakes, and quickly learned how to properly and gently hold one while controlling its movement, especially Syd, who seems to really have a natural knack for this. I took a few pics of them with a couple of my Corn Snakes, since those snakes aren't too big to handle and are very calm and docile, and the girls liked the colors, too.
