What would happen if our angry mob attacked Japan's Disneyland? We COULD egg their building.

Qoute from Pitbullady:We see those characters doing what would in reality be awful things to each other, yet they never get hurt and we KNOW that they won't.
Sulley,Mike, and Randall, now that I think of it, has had phiscal hurt in the movie.

Uh, egging their building wouldn't be such a good idea really. Once again criticism where valid and IF they were doing this just to get a rise out of people in a pretty unfunny way it would be pretty petty of them to do so. But I'm hoping they aren't.
In the movie, all three of them have experienced some physical harm yes, and Fungus is included in that (who kind of got it from Sulley when he stuck him in front of the scream extractor instead of Mike, on reflection that scene makes me go: o_0 at times.)

Sulley,Mike, and Randall, now that I think of it, has had phiscal hurt in the movie. My reference to "those characters" was NOT in reference to the characters in Monsters, Inc., or any other Pixar movie, but to the typical slap-stick Saturday morning cartoons, epitomized by the "Loony Toons". We KNOW that Wile E. Coyote and Daffy Duck will not get hurt, no matter how many times they fall over a 10,000-ft. cliff or get shot point-blank in the face by Elmer Fudd, but with Pixar's characters, we do get a sense of threat to those characters, with the understanding that they CAN be hurt or killed. IF Pixar wanted us to believe that their characters are invulnerable, all of them, then there would have been no reason to fear for Boo's safety in the Scream Extractor, would there, or for Mike and Sulley to try to run from Randall, knowing he couldn't hurt them. That sets the Pixar characters apart from the characters in the Saturday morning slap-stick 'toons, and makes them seem more "real" and more relatable. pitbulllady

What would happen if our angry mob attacked Japan's Disneyland? We COULD egg their building. Okay...I have said it numerous times and I will say it again... YOU CAN NOT BLAME A COUNTRY FOR THE IDEAS OF ONE PERSON! I'm pretty sure that the whole country of Japan didn't come up with the idea for the MI ride, it was more than likely one person that did and also since this is a Disney theme park, for all we know, the person could have been American! Also, need I remind people that Japanese humor does differ from American humor.

I think in the end while there was indeed some slapstick in the movie the way the Japan version does it is just really stretching it. I mean to say in animation physically characters do tend to get away with a lot more (as mentioned by myself somewhere, Aang and all from Avatar should have a lot more broken bones from simply the way they land on their feet from such high heights regardless of Katara's magic water or airbending, I mean sometimes Aang doesn't even use that to cushion his fall). There is also SOME slapstick and physical humour like for M.I.. However there is indeed still an inherent risk to the characters and you get the feeling they can hurt or die to a certain point. There are LIMITS after all.
So personally I just leave it in my head canon that Monsters in general can be hardier and take a bit more of that sort of thing than humans but they still can indeed get hurt or die, they can't be pressed into a cube or run over by a steam roller and live- that's going from mild slap stick and a case for some suspension of disbelief to the type of suspension of belief which is just not possible and is pretty rediculous to me.

Well, Mike and Sulley are, in effect, murderers, aren't they? Though crushing Randall to death is perhaps a tad unnecessary. But in the eyes of whoever designed that thing, it's probably 'funny' and meant to be a 'joke'. Hm. Keep in mind that it's at Disney Tokyo, according to DinoGirl, that in their "Monsters, Inc." ride, Sulley "accidentally(yeah, right)knocks Randall into the trash compacter/shredder, thus killing him. I don't find it funny at all, actually, and it really just gives me real reason to despise Mike and Sulley. I would have liked to think that there was some shred of good within them, but if THIS garbage is canon, they're a vile a couple of murderous vigilantes that ever participated in a lynching. pitbulllady Oh, god. Death is NOT funny, not at all.

Techinically there is no proof that this attraction is depicting Randall dying, also, I do not blame Japan for this, do not forget that Tokyo Disneyworld is a branch of Disney, an American company so for all we know, the one who came up with the design could have been an American employee for Disney.

m3ditate.deviantart.com/art/Disney-Land-02-118542229And all the more reason to hate Mike and Sulley myself. They really do despise Randall in Japan, don't they? You'd think, with that country's tradition of dragons and such, that they'd be more forgiving, but no. I'm glad I won't be visiting that country, seriously. pitbulllady OMG, someone has gone mad in Japan. It's not a case to use such evil jokes, no matter if they like the character or not!

Pardon my yelling but I really am hating the japanese racism that keeps existing here.

The only thing I mentioned is the place where the incident happened, that's all. Well, maybe I used wrong lexicon so it caused misunderstanding. Once again, it's not my business to judge other nations but I do have the right to talk about a particular person.

I've heard too many people say that on both DA and here, it was bugging me. So just thought I'd point it out. But yes your right, it doesn't make the situation better.
