2003 annual pgs 52-53 There is a put files in order of scare floor with letters B,U,F,S,J. Say there are twenty six floors. There is also put scared children in order from first to last scared with times of 17:10, 18:00, 16:50, 17:45 and 15:35. One of the children is Mary Gibbs, so this is presumably Randall's shift. Was he having a bad day? If he does five kids a night and is pushing 100,000 kids, he has been scaring seven days a week for going on 55 years, about twice as old as he is. Also, a few hundred scarers (see ID number thread), which looks about right if there are 26 floors (maybe a little more) and five kids a night for an average scarer (the picture accompanying the puzzle showed the 5 eyestalk monster, so perhaps Randall was sick and he was covering for him)...well, we are talking about several thousand kids a night from the Microsoft of monsters. No wonder I don't remember a scare monster...only a fraction of a percent of kids have them!

No wonder I don't remember a scare monster...only a fraction of a percent of kids have them! I always figured that M.I. hired someone who used to work for the government to do their figures...sounds like something many of our own Federal officials would come up with, "fuzzy math" at its worst! At LOT of big companies do this, actually. I also chalked up Randall's apparent "bad day" to someone tampering with his Scare tallies to make it appear that he was far less successful than he actually was, while probably giving those "missing" numbers to a certain large blue furry employee. As you explained, there's no way that Randall could have been even close to the top with averages like that, so his actual numbers were probably much, much higher than was reflected. Again, it's a common thing in large companies, this "cronyism", ethical and legal or not. pitbulllady
