I'm glad that that person didn't say anything else to obligate the point when you did the perfect explanation to prove him wrong Pitbulllady... but I know that person is never going to like Randall... I must admit, that when I was around 6 years old when the movie first came out, I DID think Randall was a villain back then. But I was too young to understand that what he did was not his idea... After viewing MI after a long time, THAT's when I became hooked in Randall again, and I started surfing the nets for things on him. This was before i joined that I found this forum. I just didn't have enough courage back then . I read through as many posts as I could, answering some of the questions I already had buzzing in my mind. Finally after two WHOLE months, I decided to join and help my support in fighting the battle for Randall. Before I'd surfed the net for Randall things, I never knew that FanFiction existed and I was transported into a different world where people right their best works up, just for being a fan. To my joy their were loads of Randall fics and I got started right away... then of course, I started making my own. I'm soo glad that soo many people agree with each other about what happened to Randall and I sure the monster himself is proud . That's the interesting thing: a LOT of people, many of whom are very intelligent, creative people, do NOT see Randall as a "villain" and an unrepentant "bad guy", who has always been bad. They understand that there is a whole lot more to his story and situation than meets the eye. Some, like me, have actually had personal experiences very much like Randall's, so they can relate to him on a deeper level, but many others just comprehend that one deniable FACT: There is, with very few exceptions, no such thing as a really "evil" person or a really "good" person; things just are not that clear-cut in black and white, but in varying shades of gray. That article I posted shows just how easy it is for someone who considers themselves "good", and whom others have considered "good", can be persuaded to do something awful, when they fall under the influence of the right(or perhaps, the WRONG)person. The article makes the point, "the SITUATION makes a person do evil, and the SITUATION makes a person do good". I absolutely cannot, based on my experiences in many situations that have to do with the workplace, believe that Randall was simply always a bad person, with no moral code, who only and always thought of himself, and was always nasty and disagreeable with everyone, NOT if he'd been working for more than like, a few months. For him to have achieved the SECOND place, with that many Screams collected, took awhile, and trust me-no matter how good a worker you are in terms of knowing your stuff, job-wise, you will NOT be tolerated if you blatantly do things that are against company policy, or if you just cannot get along with co-workers. If Randall really "had no moral code", as it's been stated, that would have indicated that he was a Sociopath from the start, that he had a serious mental illness, and this would have shown up in his required psychological profile and in his job interview and job resume'. You aren't going to get hired by a company like Monsters, Inc. without a very good recommendation from SOMEBODY, whether it's a college/university professor or student counselor or whatever, no matter how good you are. You won't even get the chance to PROVE how good you are, so to say that Randall was always bad by default, is simply going against the grain of common sense when it comes to hiring workers. pitbulllady ADENDUM-mission accomplished, I think. Check out the latest. You CAN reason with some folks, after all, and this gives me renewed hope in humanity! pitbulllady

I wasn't aware of FF.net either. Till I shared my first story of Randall (I had a full fledged dedicated folder to him ya'll ^0^) with one of the few friends I had in school...and she told me about FF.net...that was all th way back in middle school...and from there, history.

Uh, yeah...that means I added something to my at-that-time-most-recent post, rather than create a new one back-to-back. Seems our "basher" is a lot more reasonable and intelligent than most. While she sorta complained about how long my post was(I explained that I was educated "old school"-literally-and we were expected to elaborate and really back up a point when we wrote something defending our perspective), she was able to understand that there was more to Randall's situation that initially meets the eye in the movie. At least, for NOW. Like I said, check it out. pitbulllady

YAY! Another new chappy up, making 6 in total! My next chapter is the LAST appearence we see of Randall in the movie, and we all know the dreaded scene that it includes . After that chappy will be a diary entry similar to the Prologue of the story. It's actually been a pleasure to write this and I'd like to say a thanks to Sean for your reviewing on nearly every chapter. I'll take into accordance what you said . If you do see anythings like date or grammer mistakes, please notify me as I hardly notice anything ;D. I have some ideas of some next stories which involve another great character I'm a fan of, the Joker but I'll be thinking up some Randall stories! I'm thinking of revamping my school assesment story into a biggun like all of the others on FanFiction, which would be exciting to do! Well, until the ending of 'Randall's Story', adieu from the reveals and hello ideas!

Ahh your welcome ^_^ Good to know more to come ^_^ Oh great....ANOTHER Dark Knight fan ^0^ ^0^ Yes, I love TDK also. ;D But like I said, especially Joker. Anyway, not long now to go! I'm soo excited about writing the ending for some reason ;D. It's been soo awesome writing this that I'm proabably going to start that Joker story right away afterwards. Estimations are I probably WILL finish this tomorrow ;D Oh yes, I've concluded that the story I'm writing about the Joker is my own interpretation of how he recieved his scars. I think it will be Teen rated aswell though and we all know why
