Ok this is how my sudden brainwave started... I was with the family downstairs with my new Randall toy and I was thinking about his height and length (from the discussion that is already one here). I then thought about Sulley's height. He's 8 foot. Then I thought about the doors... My dad told me that the tallest doors made are around 6 foot 8 inches tall. If you see in the scarefloor scene, Sulley bends his head down to enter the room and then is nearly at his entire height once he has entered. This means that the door must be at least around at least 7 foot 5 inches tall! After asking about our room height, I found out that with Sulley being 8 foot tall, he would go beyond our living room height. Don't you think it's odd that a childs room is over or at 8 foot high? That's pretty darn high for a room! My own room is around 6 foot 8 inches tall! Now, back to the thread title.... Isn't that a little 'un-realistic'? QUICKIE ADD-ON: My dad asked me how could Randall curl around the door frame being around 12 foot long? He asked me this since I watch the scare floor scene around 50 times a day . I said it's because he stretched himself round and he also curled up his tail. Plus you'd need to stretch his body RIGHT out to make him 12 foot as like Pitbulllady said in the height discussion, reptiles can reach that length if you stretch them out. OK! My biggest post I've ever made... What do you think?

Not Realistic Doors and Room Height? Well that's easy to explain through 2 ways ^_^ 1. Doors are incorporated and fashioned to be large enough for employees to enter. Monsters like Sulley are prone and talented toward roaring, which is effective for scarers, and most of the time thosee type of Mons are large and bulky, so door designers make the doors just as large. Of course that would mean there are requirements for scarers in mass, as if your too big to fit through the door you probably won't get the job till your slimed down. 2. Since this is a cross-dimension conduit, the doors are large to incorporate the "window" that allows Mons into the bedrooms. Naturall larger to get to smaller and vice-versa.
Thats true ^_^ And Ran's very flexible and was already in shape for the the day and enjoying the moment (you can see his smile heh heh). Nice post ^_^

I thought they were un-realistic because no child's closet door should be that large... But like you said, the doors must be fashioned towards the monsters height, but things must get smaller once entered. Again, thanks for clearing it up and Randall's smile definatly showed his enjoyment for the day .
