Saw it with my mom and Ran. Pixar's BEST yet! (sorry Remy ^_^). The opening bit with WALL-E alone reminded me SO MUCH of Will Smith in Legend. And if it's like that, that makes WALL-E Will Smith, and Will Smith is one of my favorite actors and comedians ;D Anyway, WALL-E is just an adorable guy and on my favorite's list. He just tries so hard to be loved by Eve. And there are few nice guys out there, and his rejections just make him try harder ^_^ It was truely a great story ^_^

It was pretty good. I'm not much of a fan of love stories. It was the best of that category I've seen so far.

You know, I was never a huge fan of love as a main plot, but WALL-E pulled it off wonderfully. Cheesy at times, but still wonderful. I really loved all of the characters and the whole feeling of the movie. I saw it three times until I had my fill of it.
WALL-E was adorable on so many levels. I was squeeing like a little girl whenever he would talk or do something cute.

I can say that I didn't enjoy WALL-E as much as the other Pixar movies. It disappointed me as I thought their was going to be more. I did enjoy it though, nevertheless, because it's Pixar showing off thier beautiful skills, but I don't think it's just one of their best... Still I'll be adding the DVD to my Christmas List . Oh yeah! It's opening is like Legend (a film that I did like).

As in a different response to my first initial thoughts about WALL-E, I have now changed my opinian after my 2nd viewing (which was quite a while back now ). Ok, so, it was a nice one of our 'movie afternoons' and when I say that, it's describing me and my Mum sitting down to watch a few films we either haven't seen in a long time or have just bought. Come to think of it, I nearly almost buy a DVD every week . Anyway, we decided to watch WALL-E again, since we hadn't seen it since we went to the cinemas on my birthday. I actually had a change of heart... I think it's by the fact that it was my 2nd viewing. I always find that you find alot more out about a movie after you watch it the 2nd time in a row. So, this time, I didn't get bored of it once. I picked more of the story up, the dialogue and the feeling for the characters. All of the movie has taken Pixar's stunning animation on board once again... something I hadn't really picked up while in a cinema. After finally coming to the closing credits, I said to my Mum that it was very enjoyable. She agreed. We both had the same thoughts after seeing it in the cinema, but now we both treasure it like ther rest of Pixar's movies . By now, I think my Mum's sick of me watching Monsters Inc. so much, so at least I enjoy some other films ;D.

I personally love the film. It might not be as good as Toy Story or Monsters, Inc., but it's definitely up there as one of Pixar's best. WALL-E has to be Pixar's cutest character so far, but the one thing I noticed more about this film than any other is that I love so many of the characters! WALL-E, EVE, Auto, M-O, I can't choose between them all! It was beautiful, the soundtrack is amazing, and the story was unique, both futuristic and romantic. I saw it three times in the cinema, and have seen it twice on DVD, but am now already getting the urge to see it again!

WALL-E definatly is one of the best designed and cute characters I think it's a film I will go back to sometime this week too ;D I also think many of the special features on the DVD were well batched together, especially the awaited Pixar Story, since I only thought you could get that with the 'Ultimate Pixar' collection boxset. That problem was I already have all the Pixar's on DVD, but now that issues been resolved, I'm particularly happy with Pixar's decision There is one thing that bothers me though about WALL-E constantly though... My mum keeps on saying that he looks almost an exact copy of Johnny 5 from Short Circuit. I have never seen the movie but looked up pictures of Johnny 5, and he does look alot similar to WALL-E. No wonder I remember a similarity! I went to Legoland Windsor years ago and they had the Lego Johnny 5 there (the Lego dinosaurs were the best though ;D)! Anyway... I asked that wouldn't the creators of Short Circuit have opened a dispute against Pixar? My mum replied saying that they must have gained permission? I don't know... it's all very confusing business, but I absolutely hate to think of Pixar as copiers which I am so sure that they are not! I am pretty sure that WALL-E's character was original and definatly not intentially copied.

That's true... I did find an article though which conducted an interview to Andrew Stanton. It said that he got inspired by some binoculars while watching a baseball game. So, I believe now that Pixar did not copy, but were inspired like all there other movies.
