;D Okay Sean, you should be able to help me out here- since I'm too chicken poo to TRY to fight Ansem, I decided to go for Hades first to ...err .. boost my numbers I guess ^^
What's the best way to defeat Cloud and Leon when they're together in the Hades Cup? I'm guessing I should take out Cloud first, since he's harder ... I took out Leon first, and Cloud killed me. So ... what's the best keychain to use then? I've got the Divine Rose ... Goofy's got the Defender ... and Donald ... I think he had the Grand Mallet or something ...
Help. ;D
(I made this thread because I had more questions I cannot remember at this point ^^)

Ok ok. More questions? Alright!
Ok...here we go.
The best weapon for Sora depends on either his attack or magic. If you want magic, go for the Oathkeeper. If you want this to be quick, use Oblivion. Faintly, it depends on how far you think you should get in the Cup. Better to try the Oathkeeper.
Anyway. Equip Donald with something other than the mallet, give him something to increase his MP. If I remember right, just outside the Colliseum is a Trinity White Mark. You should be able to use it now, it'll have a good weapon for Donald to use. Unequip every "attack skill" Goofy and just give him Tornado. This is by far his best attack and something he should use.
You do have Curaga and a high level Aero (Aeroaga works best, you should complete the Dalmations side-quest as this spell saves you in allot of ways and ALSO damages your opponents) spell right? Also make sure you have Mp Rage or this, and the Cup, will be difficult.
Ok. The fight. Yes. Take out Cloud first. He is the bigger threat. Let Donald and Goofy "distract" Leon by targeting him and pressing....I forgot. One of you buttons "orders" them to attack what your targeting. Anyway. Cloud and Leon each have their own "weakspot". When Cloud pulls a "braver", launches in the air and shoots downward and lands his sword in the ground, he's open to attack. You can probably get off your full combo if you lucky. Keep running around with Dodge Roll to avoid his Sonic Slash. Leon's is when he swings his gunblade up and slams downward. Roll over in a circle until he lands, come up behind him, and hack away. Be careful when he powers up his sword (do NOT let Donald and Goofy force him to do this before Cloud is knocked out. Even though they should keep Leon busy for awhile, Leon's extended sword and brass attitude will come after you).
Anyway. Just focus on Cloud and try to stay away from Leon. Leon should eventually, at most times, get bugged out by Donald and Goofy and eventually attack them. Cloud's Sonic Sword should give you some distance.
Now, you shouldn't have to use anything except Cure magic and maybe an aero when Cloud pulls out his "Dark Wing" attack (he stands in one place and powers up).
JUST attack Cloud when he pulls a braver like I told you. This will make sure he doesn't get cheap shots at you. If, at all, Donald and Goofy get Leon well enough away, you could call them over to make this trick faster.
With Cloud out of the way, Leon is cake. Just use the same stradegy and just watch out for his sword. Just remind yourself, keep your distance. ALWAYS keep your distance till Leon pulls his blade at his side. When that happens, QUICKLY dodge roll to Leon's right, as he will pull his extended (and deadly) blade from his left.
Actually, these guys were cake the first time I fought them....guess Leon WAS a bit rusty when I beat him during Sora's first meeting with him.
Bring the next! ^_^ If you have one about Hades....

Yeah- it's weird, I beat them easily when I did it the first time in my other game, but it got erased because of that Holiday demo disk =P
Ummm ... Oblivion. That's the one I'm having trouble getting. You have to synthesize every item, right? I need to get some more Gale and Bright crystals ... Mostly Thunder Gem. I have the guide book that tells me which Heartless you can get them from.
Just a side thing, but how do you get to those rooms in the waterway in Hollow Bastion? I only got that Fira gummi thing by climbing on the wall, but I can't get in the other ones- like in the room with the one wall Beast can break but I remember seeing a chest behind a wall but I can't get to it. =P It doesn't say anything about them in the book, but it does say 'Keep in mind there are places you won't be able to reach at the moment'. CAN you get behind the walls? O__o
And thanks for the help- I know what you meant with the 'calling' thing that distracts Donald and Goofy when you target an opponent. That should help ;D

No no! Oblivion is found in the Castle. Where you fought Riku, head to one of the stairs at the sides, jump onto the platform, and go onto the arc that goes overhead, Oblivion should be there waiting.
AH. This got me at first, but listen up.
Those orb waters you go in to transfer to new hallways. You can FREEZE them. Yes. Use a blizzard spell and they turn into platforms for a few seconds. Jump on and jump up to where the chests are. Ok...other places....Well....you know to use Gravity spells on those floating chests right?
Ok...there's a door hidden underneath those two rising and lowering columns, the ones that are outside yes? Anyway. They block a doorway just underneath them. Get them high enough (one side high is good, then (and this is the hard part), Jump off the side of the castle or on the columns and get into the cover just under the column you lifted. There will be a door. Another place would be in the library. The books are easy to figure out and the rest should be simply. (OH! Also, if Leon, Aris, and everyone else is in Hallow Bastion (the castle) in this room, talk to Aris over and over again. She will give you the rest of Ansem's reports as well as the valuable Curaja spell) Anything specific and anymore questions? I love sharing knowlegde heh heh.

I know the freezing stuff and gravity trick ... but ... alright- I'll need to look back around Hollow Bastion- I think I got it the first time, but not in this game ...
;D Haveta finish up some more of Dark Cloud for a bit though. That's a good game ... Fairly Odd Parents 'Breakin Da Rules' will have to wait, but I'm just trying to finish it again to watch the little movie clips. I finished that game before, but the damn Holiday demo disk erased it. It's a very easy game, but the coordination has some difficulties (wide turns and horrible jumps) so it's keepin me =P
Aris? Do you mean Aerith? Cause yeah, I need to go back there. I was too busy screwin' around in other worlds, then I eventually got bored and quit. ;D

Dark Cloud!? I have TWO of those! Finished the game. But DANG! It is HARD. I defeated the genie with the Sun Sword. Dark Cloud 2 is better. Upgrading weapons isn't such a pain.
Yeah her. Surprisingly, she use to be dead...hmmm....
Anyway. Anything else? I like this ^_^

Yeah, it's hard with that stupid thirst level going down, and repairing weapons =P Otherwise, it's fun ;D Umm .... can't think of anything else at the moment ... But if you know me, you know I'll have trouble with the simplest thing ;D Just give me time ... I'll have a problem sooner or later

Well....that part wasn't quite hard. It was interesting though. I just hated the Weapon Level up. You have to cheat somehow to get the Final Heaven sword or those high level ones. It just would take FOREVER to....
Alright ^_^

Okay, Sean, I need help with Dark Cloud - since you beat the game maybe you can help ... I'm in Queens and I went in the shipwreck and I have to beat the Evil Queen's spirit or something ... but I keep dying. Is there a trick to this, or do I just suck? Lol, because that anti-freeze thing doesn't work =P

Oh my god..... That Queen is a ugh...
Well lets see.... The guide says to buy allot of fire rock throwy thingys, but that hardly works....
What I did, and this took a bit (my memory's a little sketchy on this one), but use uhhh....the genie's ring on Fire element and run around the room and fire off shots, avoiding the Queen's magic. Getting behind a pillar will save you from all but one of her powers, the one that turns your character into an icecube. You can switch between Meco (the cat, forgot name) and use her slingshot.....
What do you have in inventory?
