Then go to www.955thefish.com/ and Listen Live...24/7 family friendly Christmas Music through December 25 (none of that "Grandma Got Run Over by a Reindeer stuff).

They used to start even earlier in the year, like Nov 15, but got flack for doing it so early (I first learned of it in a critical column in the Plain Dealer 2 years ago). That winter was the worst in Cleveland's history...it wasn't the coldest (1976-1977) but it was the snowiest (by a good twenty inches...ten feet). A resident at the group home where I work reminded me of it the following year. My father was dead now, and after that winter I was in a mood for Christmas stuff ASAP. I was looking forward to this for days this year.

Does anybody know the song that's sorta like Merry Christmas, but it has no audio. Just music going in a rock-like-theme. Sorta like what they did in Home Alone except more recent.

Hmmm? No audio? How can it be a song without audio?

In that case it's an instrumental. But still....sort of vague, not ENTIRELY sure what you mean.

Unsure myself ^_^ But it's sorta like Merry Christmas, with only the music in a more hard-metal type of way.

Yeah that's a bit....too vague to tell I'm afraid. If it was ever used in anything that might help, or maybe not, depends on whether I've seen it ^_^

Ah oh well ^_^ I'll probably hear it on radio and we'll all laugh thinking "I thought it was that!" ^_^

If you are bothered by the John Tesh show in the evening (didn't have that last year IIRC), here is another all Xmas music marathon in Cleveland: www.wdok.com/

Sean, I think you mean that song by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, which combines orchestral music with a loud heavy-metal guitar, and sorta samples many different Christmas songs. I can't think the exact name of the song, though I've heard it a million times, and it is, as far as I know, their only radio release. pitbulllady

You can find out the last 24 hours of WFHM music by clicking on that "ribbon" at the top of their web page, if you ever hear the song again.

I tried calling the station and they could not help. Another group may be manheim steamroller, which does a lot of Christmas instrumentals. You can try googling these for CDs...most sales sites let you listen to a sample of the songs so you can tell if it is right.
