Ah! Michigan! I saw lots of liscence plates from there when I lived in Kingston (it's about a two hour drive from both Toronto and Ottawa - like smack dab in between them, and perched on the edge of Lake Ontario). ^_^ I almost want to move back to Ontario (or even someplace new, like... Québec) just so I can pracice my French. In my town here in Alberta, we're all relatively whitebread anglophones.

You know, I think it's great that you know your national anthem, Beboots. Over here, hardly anyone knows the national anthem...Including me! 'God save our gracious queen, long live the...something...queen, something...something...' *cough*

Isn't it, "Long live our gracious queen, God save our gracious queen, God save our queen"? (I've played the theme a few times in band several years ago, so I could be wrong). Really awsome! Beboots! me and my friend want to sometime soon take a road trip to Québec! My brother's actually in Québec now, on a grade nine school trip (all grade nine French immersions at that school go on this trip - I went two years ago and it was awesome! :D) You're going to have an awesome time there. ^_^ Do you speak any French? Yay! You spell it with the accent! :) The accent is an ingrained habit from French class, and I always pronounce it the French way when I speak - and never say "quebeckers", but "québecois" instead. Of course, I also accidentally say "Monsieur" all the time in English instead of "mister", so... -_-;

Well, if you'd ever like to learn any useful (or useless but funny XD ) expressions, just ask. I'm pretty much fully functional in French.

French eh? Been awhile since I've taken it, I'm probably reall rusty, though I still remember some bits.

Was that mandatory French, Nauticusvergil, or was it because you wanted to learn it? I know many of my friends are learning Spanish or Japanese in highschool because they were forced to take French classes they didn't want in elementary school.

Because I wanted to learn it. I'm also taking Japanese as well.

Oh! I took a semester of Spanish in grade ten. ^_^ It's not as pretty a language as French, in my opinion, but I still think that Spanish (as in, Spain Spanish) accents in spoken English sound rather attractive. ^_^ Of course, I also think that French (Québecois French, not France French) accents are hot as well, and of course any sort of British accent... ;D

I'd love to be able to talk in another language, but after three years of French, I gave up. The only language I can deal with is Latin, just because we don't actually have to speak it. I think Italian sounds quite nice, too...Very romantic. ;D
