I am getting the dreaded "red x in a box"! I even tried to zoom in, same thing there, too. I will try when I get home, IF I even have time, and I have a decent computer and Netscape, which is better for viewing pics than Explorer.

I see it! It's excellent. I love the colors and he looks so relaxed and happy. The chair is so...awesome. I want it. ;D

AH! THERE it is! Nice work, especially with his expression, and those oh-so-gorgeous green eyes! For a beginner oil painter, it's not bad at all, since oils ARE difficult to work with(though not half as bad as watercolors).

Squee! Way better than anything I could do. I particularly love the colouring, Randall's pose, the chair, his eyes, and, well... everything! Wonderful job! ;D

Thank you! ;D Since I'm probably not gonna do another oil for a while, since I sort of made a mess, I wanted Randall to look happy. Figured that if I wanted him depressed, I could do that in my other pictures. ;D

It IS a lot easier than water colour, but still tricky nonetheless. The paint is REALLY thick, which is just the way I like it, but mixing it takes a while. It's a fun sort of paint, but you have to do loads of layers and things, for shadows and stuff.

I personally like the look of oils better than watercolours (it's a richer colour, I find), but I've never really experimented myself (probably has something to do with my complete lack of artistic talent).
