FF.net seems just to be really quite empty, now.

You obviously haven't seen the Harry Potter section, then. They add like, four or five pages per day in new/updated stories.

Surprisingly, Randall got a review for one of his life stories today....

Seriously, Beboots? Doesn't surprise me, I guess, in the sense that Harry Potter is still on-going. ;D

Is it because of Goblet of Fire? When's that coming?
Oh! I've got a magazine that shows some upcoming games that will be made into movies...

Is it because of Goblet of Fire? When's that coming? Goblet of Fire (the book) has been out for five years, Sean... or did you mean the movie? I'm eagerly awaiting the sixth book, the Half-Blood Prince, which comes out on the sixteenth of July. Squee! ;D

That was... wow.... This review I actually have to piece together in my mind so it can come out coherently in writing... I wouldn't want to bore you with an elongated speech about you kicking major arse as far as your writing talents are concerned, so... aww, hell. That fic rocked me hard. If anything, it's really one in a million. I've never really ever been half as deeply engrossed in a fiction story as I have with this one. And yes, I high five you too for those anal retentive habits of dwelling over a sentence, paragraph, whatever for hours on end. Perfect punctuation, spelling and grammar brighten my day. Plus, it makes for easier and smooth reading, so I love you bunches for that alone. I mean, wow... I was just blown away. I really do hate smileys, but I'll make it an exception this time for the sake of showing you how happy I was to have had the pleasure of reading your story. ---> ;D There. I don't have much constructive criticism to offer because I found the fic next to flawless. If there were other things, such as Light Rises' mentioning of the whole present tense thing, they probably slipped by me. The story was too good for me to bother. Hah. Like I said, the grammar and spelling never made me flinch, and once I added in your incredible ability of depicting everything in your writing so impressively, (characters, situation, plot, ect... Death! Hehe!) it just made for one sweet story. I just really liked your wit, and it makes me wish I had it. I know I have more things to say to drag my babbling on longer than I should, and I'll most likely start remembering once I've shut the computer off and gone to bed... Your fic made me fall that much more in love with Randall than was necessary, I think. Hehe. *insert wink here* I'm very picky about Mr. Boggs' character staying intact and true. I think you won yourself a batch of freshly baked cookies for managing him so well and for making me, being the wary freak that I am, totally delve into it. *lovelove* Randall's violent outburst of pure, unadulterated anger was just priceless. The only word I could think of to fit in with Randall's venting was f*^%$#!. Waternoose and Sulley's verbal insults were even livelier in my mind. Glad you gave your readers that liberty. It makes it much more fun. I had to laugh out loud when I saw the army of asterisks heading my way. Everything was just clever and dead-on, in my opinion. Oh, and this title, "Chapter 1 - To The Well-Organized Mind, Death Is But The Next Great Adventure, But To The Rest Of Us, This SUCKS!" made me try to stiffle my giggles in astronomy this morning. Yes. I became that hooked on this thing that I started reading it in class and trying to take notes at the same time. My friend next to me tried peeking over to see what I was finding so amusing. The ending made me feel all warm and fuzzy. I loved very much. Mind if I print your fic out? I could use some really good reading while my councelors try to figure out what exactly their job is, and then give them another moment for them to figure out how I'll be getting to mine. But that's another story... I digressed, sorry! That's it for now. I'd try praising you more but it's almost midnight here and I have school tomorrow... Believe me, I could go on; but I won't hold you on that threat. Happy birthday, by the way! I'm not about to forget that. This was indeed a great surprise. Hope you had a good one, and many more after this. Good luck with your studies and please keep writing! =)

Squee! ;D You know, I wasn't having a very nice day today (you know, sniffling, coughing, two tests, horrible weather, lost a bracelet, forgot my lunch at home, etc.), but your comments here just brightened my day. ^_^ *hugs all around*
Of course I don't mind if you print it off, Greenstars! I do it all the time - print off awesome fics (mostly in the Harry Potter section, but I have a whole binder dedicated to my favorite Randall fiction).
Thanks for all the compliments. I just wanted to mention that that rant of Randall's just came naturally to me - I wrote it and hardly changed anything (except to add a few more ****s here and there). If you notice, right before the word "Waternoose" there's three ****, and I seem to remember a point where he pauses and just says "...****..." (I probably should have clarified) - I immagined Randall shaking his head while swearing there, as if overwhelmed by, well... everything.("injustices" seems like such a whiny word, you know?) I added things like that to make it more colourful, you know?
And thanks for mentioning the chapter titles; I spent like, half an hour decided which ones to use where. If anybody has an idea for a quote/phrase/saying that would fit with the third chapter (the one labelled "Chapter Three (Otherwise called : When The Author Got Lazy And Uncreative With Chapter Titles)"), tell me and I'll add it in. ^_^ Right now it only has that Sandman quote, which makes 'em seem a little ununiform.
Thanks again, guys, for making my day! *hugs all around, again*

If you notice, right before the word "Waternoose" there's three ****, and I seem to remember a point where he pauses and just says "...****..." (I probably should have clarified) No need. I got it all and it made perfect sense. I actually felt the weight lifting off of my own chest after he went ballistic. Ditto on "injustice" being the understatement of the year.

So you don't mind us printing it out, then, Beboots? ... YES!!! ;D And yeah, I felt this real relief too when Randall had that little...large, rant. I think it was one of my favourite parts of the whole fic. And the, in a sense, irony, of the fact that at the end Randall walks off with the person that caused him a lot of his pain yet could manage to forgive him... Beboots, you should SO send your story to some kind of TV company or something- if they ever made it into a film or TV drama or something it would be the best thing...EVER!!!

I'm not sure that I'd be all that successful if I did - isn't it illegal to publish fanfiction and related stuff without the permission of the creator?
Whatever I do in life, however, I'm sure that I'm going to be an author on the side. So you never know, you may see a book o' mine in bookstores in a decade or so. I have some vague original plot ideas/character ideas floating around in my head.

No. Not in bookstores....
You may be able to publish it as long as you don't make profit off it.

Hey, really Beboots? Same here- I could never be an author full time, but, as you said, as a job on the side, it'd be great. ;D Ooooh, I can't wait to read more of your stories. ;D
