I have that movie on video! ^_^ Veg's History teacher had a recording of it from Japan or somewhere, and she let us borrow it.

The cartoon bits are the best, I think. I just have a reallly cruddy illegal copy (It's a copy of a copy of a copy) of it and the sound doesn't work on some of the parts. Still a really good movie though.

PAS, stupid question, but have you been to Splash Mountain? LOL yes I have (love that ride)...I'm one of the few people who rides it there who knows it was actually based off a movie. Although the laughing place part is slightly disturbing...all those scary chicken animatronics singing and everytihg. It's weeiirdd XD

A few of the animatronics in Splash Mountain were from a show called, America Sings.

Yea, didnt they get shipped from that in Florida, I think it was? Or was it Japan? Or both? XD It bothers me how there's so many though. Everywhere you look on that ride there's a creepy singing chicken! They weren't in the movie either. What was that show America Sings about, anyway? I never got around to seeing it.

I never saw it either, but Veg has like the music and sounds of ALL the rides in Disneyland. There was this one sound track about where animatronics sang about songs in the past. Such as "Drill ye terriers drill", "Fire ball mail", "I dream of Jeanie with a light brown hair", "Camp Down races" ect. At the end of each generation there was a weasel that poped up and said, "POP! Goes the weasel!" then it giggles. I saw it in Splash Mountain on the Laughing place part.

Just found it, I'm listening to it...it's....hmm.... interesting?...Hey, they play that weasel part in the of the 50th anniversary fireworks show! I always wondered what that was from...hehe

Yeah, the weasel is from "America Sings" which was a show that was taken out in 1988. It was about music and how it changed over the years. From Yankee Doodle to Joy to the World. Too bad they took it out before I was born. I would have loved to watch it, along with the Country Bear Jamboree which was taken out in 2001.

Yea.... I used to love country bears, it was so unique and added to the "critter country" theme of that area of the park...now it's just that sad little winne the pooh ride. It seems like they are just going to be adding rides based off of movies now...nothing origional. In fact, CA Adventure could easily be named "Pixarland" now, since there is so much of that there now. Thats why I like the Tower of Terror. ;D
