Yep, those are Siberian Huskies. I used to breed Huskies, many years ago, but I got over it. They are pretty to look at, and they are great for sled dog races, but that's about it. They are the closest thing to a crack-head you can get in a dog, without giving it drugs. They will run non-stop if allowed to do so, having no idea where they are going or why-just running. They have no concept of obeying a human, so if one gets loose, you have two options-bait it with another animal and try to grab it while the dog is savagely killing the other animal(something else they do), or shoot the dog. Don't even think you can call it and it will come to you; they cannot hear you while running or killing things. That's why you always see Huskies chained up while they aren't pulling sleds; they will just take off and disappear if they get loose and keep running 'til they drop! I guess it comes from generations of being bred purely for racing.

Really? I was watching Crufts a few weeks ago, and I think there was a husky there, which is a little bit unusual after what you just said. It was beautiful though- a female, I think- and it performed pretty well in the obediance tests. ;D

It made me so angry that they shoved him through that door after he pleaded with them not too! I don't think it's a good message to give out, especially as I think that they knew he'd be killed. I think they should have made him apologise or similar even if they made him their slave or something mean like that. I would just say to him 'Say sorry and I'll forgive you' and then, well, forgiven him and given him a hug. ;D

I have a feeling, based on their festive behavior, that this was not the first time they'd discussed doing something bad to him, either, and it had probably started long before he ever tried to harm either of them, or before they found out about the Scream Extractor. Mike especially seemed to harbor a particular dislike of Randall based simply on Randall being reptilian, and nothing more. At the beginning of the movie, when we are first introduced to Randall, during his practical joke(and that's what it was-a joke, silly and childish, but nothing more), Mike calls him a "creep"-WHY? Why is Randall so "creepy" to Mike, anymore than any other monster? pitbulllady

I think that Randal has a very specific sort of (eek - no flames!) sense of humour and way of carrying himself. He clearly enjoys the fact that he frightens Mike, and goes a little out of the way to do so. I think a lot of it is the Highschool mentality. Randall does not quite fit the typical mould -he's more reserved and stands out.

I think Boo's fear turned into anger after she saw her best friend (in her eyes) being overpowered by Randall. She must have viewed Randall as a bully at that point (or maybe not since she's only around 2) and stood up for herself and her friend. But of course, a situation like in the film would backfire in our world .
