Just saw a post on Tumblr from someone who said they had been to a MU merchandise previewing-I have no reason to to doubt them-and they confirmed that there WILL be Randall-with-glasses merchandise in addition to what we have already seen, including a plushie! Pitbulllady I saw that too, then I got to thinking. If those plushies come with with his glasses and sweater, their gonna have a hard time keeping them on the shelves! lol

I just hope that they're decent-sized(as in huggable-sized) plushies, not just the little ones. NOT that I don't like the little ones...I'll pretty much take anything Randall-centric as long as it's not those "dead, cubed Randall" things, but there has never been one you can actually hold in your arms like most plushies. They made large Sulley and Mike plushies, and still do, but now it's Randall's turn, I hope. I don't know if I can wait to see these on shelves, though! pitbulllady

I'd imagine that if we don't see them pre-showtime, we would definitely see them in the merchandise after release, when Pixar sees what's talked about the most about their film once it's seen.

Wow Ran's is weird 0_0 But you know what? I recently saw Rise of the Guardians, and in it North (Santa) gives Jack (Frost) a small nesting-doll that represents what is his "center", what he "gives to the world". I dunno, these things just remind me of them.
I remember seeing this board game glimpsed before (not this same image mind you) but what gets me NOW...is the ironics of it. Most people thought Wazowski and Sullivan were roommates at the start, then I revealed, and we confirmed, that he's actually with Randall. Then LATER at OZ they're roommates. Just find it funny that "Who's Behind the Door" is a game, and we kind of sorta PLAYED it a little tehehehe.
And yep there's Randall (Randy heh), all big wide smile.

Just find it funny that "Who's Behind the Door" is a game, and we kind of sorta PLAYED it a little tehehehe. And yep there's Randall (Randy heh), all big wide smile. And again, HEEEEERRE'S JOHNNY with that evil grin...sorry, I had to do that. I have no doubt that it's him mostly who will "plant those seeds" that grow into a festering emotional wound in Randall. Randall is, in this movie, exactly the sort of person that groups and individuals who love to prey on and manipulate others look for. He's the sort that gangs and cults look for: lonely, vulnerable, driven to please others so they can be accepted and feel secure. Waternoose was like that and Johnny seems like that. They literally brainwash their victims, and it's been proven that it's actually quite easy for such groups and/or individuals to do that to someone, without them even realizing it. On top of that, the greater the moral standards that the person has, the EASIER they are to brainwash into doing something wrong, since the person manipulating them actually utilizes what is basically a form of hypnosis to achieve this, convincing their victim that they are actually doing the RIGHT thing when they aren't. I watched a program not long ago on Nat Geo about this, where they used a police officer as their subject and convinced him to "kill" another person in a "hit"(the "victim" was actually an actor and the gun was loaded with blanks, but the guy was totally willing to go through with it). Sleep deprivation can result in a kind of "automatic" hypnosis, in which people will do things without even realizing it, although they appear to others to be acting willingly on their own accord. But yeah, I'd put money on Johnny and the guys in ROR being the ones who ultimately do brainwash this naive little kid into thinking he's got to be this "hard", tough, take-no-prisoners guy if he's ever going to make it as a Scarer...or as one of their own. They know that Randall is in desperate need of a "family" for whatever reason, so they step in...just like a gang or a cult would do when faced with a similar "lost" individual, offering to be that "family". pitbulllady

Oh MAN...That was SUCH an obvious joke. I'm ashamed to have missed doing that heh heh heh. (You know, I've been running through jokes for the sequel...and this "Here's Johnny" reference from The Shining sounds like something Pixar COULD do in MU. I mean Shining is a horror film, Johnny's...well at a university with Scarers...it just seems to FIT as a good overall gag)
It can be a mixture of what ROR does and what they put Randall into...we know that Johnny's involved with all three of them in some way. Wazowski is a bother to him and ROR, Sullivan is...a candidate, and Randall eventually becomes a member... A question to pose...what did Sullivan do or NOT do...that didn't get him in (or kicked out of) ROR?

Are you talking about the little figurine version or whatever that was just posted today? I think Randall looks weird in some of those....simply because the shape for some of the figures just doesn't suit well with Randall's shape....and suits better with the designs of some of the other characters. Anyway, speaking of this whole 'evil grin' thing.....Johnny certainly seems to do it way more than I've ever seen Randall do it. Although I have to say that the 'evil grin' thing can also be really mis-leading. There are some pictures of my boyfriend where he looks either really pissed off and scowling or he's smiling and looks like he's got an evil grin.....but he's not remotely evil or even pissed off in those pictures. lol. He just has that look to him. Some people just do.

The little figure version in the plastic. Yeah some of his stuff seems...out of place and weird...but maybe a bit unique too hehehe.
*blinks* That's a good...comparison actually...with the grin..

It's just weird with some of the figures where the figures are all the same shape, no matter who the character is...and for some of the characters they just don't fit into that shape as well as others, and therefore look really odd. LOL. Like I remember some other figurines we saw earlier that were really round shaped and Mike and Sulley worked better with that shape than Randall. The Randall one just looked weird in that shape. And yeah see people think my b/f looks majorly creepy/evil here for example: 24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_me35o9Z4Pm1rofdseo1_1280.jpgIt's just how he smiles though sometimes. It's not like he's actually evil. LOL.

I've never seen that one before, but there's so little detail that I can't tell if it's MU Randall or MI Randall. Doesn't have glasses or a friendly smile(and what's up with the yellow teeth?)so I'm guessing it's a cheap MI plush. Randall and PERRY, lol...never saw those two together before; too bad the Randall plush doesn't have as much detail as the Perry plush, though.

Could somebody post a pic? Kind of feel awkward going into a Japanese site.
Perry? As in Perry the Platypus? .....If they're from the same "stock set"...this could be...Disney Infinity toys. I saw Perry (and the characters from what show he's from, name escapes me) as a playable character in it, and considering that MU is also involved...
