You know...you'd think with his ego he'd go out of his way to complain 0_- Then again seems he focuses more on what he does right/accomplishes than wrong/fails 0_- Ego or not, Mike's not the sharpest pencil in the pack-when I read this initial post about his door leading to the supply closet, it reminded me of those two idiots, "Frit and Frat", in the "Pranks A Lot" episode of "Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends", when they walked into the janitor's closet at the motel, and one of them(they sound like Beavis and Butthead, by the way), says, "Hey, this doesn't like, look like the bathroom!" and the other replies, "DUH! This is so like, the GIFT SHOP, dummy!" Mike wouldn't know the difference, either. pitbulllady ;D I actually think that was one of the most accurate descriptions of Mike's intelligence level yet! Getting stuck in the closet! Uh, Mike, you come THROUGH the closet and we uh, sleep in BEDS.

I guess that really doesn't bode well for him showing up a sequel, does it? Guess John Lasseter lied through his teeth when he said that Pixar really listens to its fans pitbulllady

I've been there three or four times back when I had my annual pass, and I actually DID appear on the screen once as "the guy who will buy everyone churros after the show" and when Buddy came out on screen he was like "Aw man I love churros! That guy's my new buddy!" heheh. ;D The show in itself is pretty fun, and I would still go if I still lived down there. But um...I never once recall Randall being featured at all.....oh wait, you're talking about a new ride not this I think, right DinoGirl?

But um...I never once recall Randall being featured at all.....oh wait, you're talking about a new ride not this I think, right DinoGirl? Buddy? Buddy WHO? Buddy PINE? That is the only "Buddy" I can think of who is a Pixar character, off-hand...can't fathom what he'd be doing on a Monsters, Inc. ride, though, but I bet he does love churros! I'm not sure which ride this is, either-the one that's already opened in CA, or the one due to open in FL. But yeah, this is plain murder, no matter what Randall did, and it's even more likely murder than the fate he met in the movie. Is this new ride, I wonder, supposed to be simply a re-encactment of the movie, as the ride in CA is, or is it supposedly taking place AFTER the movie, one of the "Randall-Comes-Back-and-Tries-To-Get-Revenge-On-Dear-Mike-and-Sulley" themes? THAT will really send a wonderful and positive message to the little kids, will it not? Maybe enough protective parent types will complain; after all, that is really gruesome, especially for Pixar! Now, my day REALLY sucks, after reading this. If being Monday weren't bad enough, and having to leave work early due to an asthma attack that I couldn't get under control(allergy season + stress= sick Pitbulllady), I first read elsewhere on the 'net that Cartoon Network has hinted that they will KILL off Wilt in the online game, "Cartoon Network's Fusion Fall", a game which IS considered "canon", and now THIS. This absolutely sucks, big-time. Both of my favorites, killed off, forever. pitbulllady

I don't recall his last name actually Pitbulllady. He was a Monster host of the show. He had eye stalks, two eyes only though, and thin arms. Let me look his name up for you actually..... Ah! It's Buddy Boil, there we go, that's right. He's purplish in color, but doesn't seem to have a specific species about him, just smooth, slick skin but without scales. He had skin similar to that of....actually here's a picture of him, that'd be easier. And yes, he loved his churros, heheh. ;D adisneyworld.disney.go.com/media/wdw/images2003/languagespecific/eng/nontheme/parks/magickingdom/attractions/monstersinc/LaughFloor.jpg

I'm not aware of a new Monsters Inc ride here in WDW; if there is going to be one, I think it's gonna be a while. I know that they're working on the theatre for Stitch, and I dunno what they're putting in this other place they're working on ... but I don't think they can fit a ride or a theatre there. I have no clue what they're doing. Maybe they're going to make a restaurant or something ...
EDIT: Oh wait, they'll be putting in the Pixar Place - I just checked. ^^; Haven't seen any amount of construction going on yet though.

Oh, here's the link to a full ride video. I had been waiting for a recording of this for ages since I let alone cannot go to Tokoyo Disneyland . Japanese, but hey, the guy who voices Randall in the ride, he is ok at doing it I suppose.

Japanese, but hey, the guy who voices Randall in the ride, he is ok at doing it I suppose. So this is at the Tokyo Disney World? You didn't mention that...and also forgot to put up a link, by the way. I really don't want to watch it, though, seriously. I wonder, again, if this is supposed to be a sort of sequel, and if it's considered canon given that it's in Japan, where they have a much greater tolerance for gore and violence than we normally expect to see in a Pixar movie. Still, I'd think that Randall would be very popular in Japan, and would be less likely to be seen as "evil" over there than he is here in the West. I still find it extemely disturbing though, and I sincerely hope it's not canon nor a preview of the sequel, but simply something that is intended to please a culture that's more open to that sort of thing in "family" entertainment. UPDATE-I went back and checked a link on Pixar Planet, and I DID find that there is supposed to be a new M.I. ride at WDW Florida, slated to open in 2001, which is apparently going to be a scaled-up, faster, audience-participation re-hashing of the movie, in that it takes place on the Scare Floor and in the Door Vault. You can see as much details as are known at the time here: pixarblog.blogspot.com/2008/07/monsters-inc-ride-in-the-works-for-wdw.html . pitbulllady

I did mention in my first post that it was in Tokoyo Disneyland, but nevermind... At least you know now . I would have thought it is canon. The nature of the ride is trying to catch Boo in her adventures in Monstropolis. She is seen in various scenes running through Harryhausen's, the main streets of Monstropolis and the locker rooms. Randall is *sigh* the main villain again . He apparently is trying to catch Boo and sports a giant net which you would usually use for butterfly nabbing. Since I have no idea what he is saying since I know no knowledge of the Japanese language, I cannot really say much more about his involvement in the ride. His incident with the trash compactor is through Sulley being the clumsy beast he is, knocking him down the chute. He ends up as a cube . Awesome! Although that link didn't work for me, I'm still excited about this other new ride.

I sure hope this isn't canon, but just some AU Japanese version. If it is official, I swear I will never spend another penny on anything Pixar makes. It's just wrong, period. pitbulllady
