Umm... no... But I've heard people say it's really fun. Is it online, or a cd/dvd-rom?

i do. ;D it's my favorite game (besides Silent Hill, which is my one true video game love) i've only been playing for about 2 maybe 3 months now and it's still kinda new to me, but i still want to buy the new expansion when it comes out. i really can't wait to make a Blood Elf. finally, an attractive character for the Horde! but it's kinda funny because some people i know want to make a Blood Elf because, well, they're elves, but they don't want to be in the Horde. lol.

^^ It's online, but you have to buy the CD to install it. Believe me, once you get it, you won't be able to stop playing it for a looong time. XD It is sooo addicting! I just recently got into it myself. I'm still a n00b The blood elves do look pretty neat, but I think I still like the night elves better. But my personal favorite is the undead. Muahaha.... I'm not sure if I'm going to get the expansion though...the game itself is already pretty costly. Maybe later I will, it looks cool. ^_^

*has been playing WoW for the last 4 hours* yeah, i've been paying it off with my left over summer job money. i was planing on using my Christmas money to buy the expansion. an extra $30 is so worth it. yeah, im still a noob too. big time noob. lol. it's so addicting. within the first month i started to get carpal tunnel and now im probably going to have to get surgery on my wrist...yeah im really addicted to it. but the new patch is cool. i like being able to do 25 quest now.

Yess the patch. I hate waiting for the patches to download though, it's sloooow on my computer. XP I could play that game all night, and I probably will over winter break....eheh. GREAT game...I found a way to pay off the monthly charges, but I will have to save up for the expansion I suppose. Flying mounts...good god... I'm already drooling over the idea, and I'm not even level 20 yet. XDDDD

yeah, it took my computer about 20 hours just to download the patch. i hate waiting, because i can't stand not being able to play. lol. my cousin just got the game the day the new patch came out and right after he waited forever to download Blizzard he had to wait another 8 hours for the patch to load. and then he found that he lost his access key because his mom threw out the box a few days before and he has to buy a whole new one now. lol. bad start. but he's been playing on the website free trail. god, i can't wait to have a flying mount!!!! it's driving me crazy! but even when the expansion comes out, i still can't get one. too bad. i have a level 24 and a level 21 (and a few level nines here and there). and even when i get to level 40 (it is 40 right) i probably wont have enough gold.

I am a fan of RPGs, but the type where your in first person most of the time just doesn't sit with me. Though I think WoW DOES have a third person viewer.
I guess it's the possibility of A-holes in Online games that are just jerks.

you're in third person all the time in WoW, otherwise i wouldn't be able to play it. first person view always gives me a headache.
yeah, sometimes the chat can get annoying, but i hardly ever talk on General. i only talk to those in my party, guild, or i whisper. lol. avoid Barrens chat! i don't know why, but Barrens chat brings in a lot of crap.

Ah.
Well in some terms, from what I heard for PSO online, you can lose some hard earned stuff in Online game cheaters.

Oh noooooo. I was warned by my art teachers at the SVA program. They said they lost many potential art students to World of Warcraft. I wouldn't touch it with a ten foot pole, since Sims had me addicted for a while ... I don't want another addiction! xD I'm sure it's fun but for me, it'll just be something else to keep me from getting my portfolio done, as if there isn't enough of that already! =P Eek. Scary thought. I don't really have much of a portfolio myself.... :(Oh man...I wish I was more like you and be able to hold back, lol. Video games are like my weakness. Oh and beelz....I'm pretty sure you have to be all the way to level 70 to get flying mounts. 60 for epic mounts, and 40 for normal mounts....rawr....long way to go.

Haha, forever probably isn't even an exaggeration! (Unless you play it non-stop 24/7 and have no life, that is... ')

yeah, you don't have to have no life to play WoW, but it helps. maybe i'll be able to get to level 70 over summer vacation. fat chance though. maybe 50 or 60.
