Yeah, science is alright an' all, but it does kind of spoil things. Sometimes it's nice to believe in things that we might not have solid proof for.

Was wondering where everyone was....
Personally I dislike science. Yeah...SURE...they come up with medicines and ways to merge elements...but most of them, in reflection purposes, think that such things as magic don't exist mainly because they can't prove anything right or wrong.

I actually caught the last part of a show (on either the Discovery Channel or the History Channel, I can't remember which), which attempted to scientifically explain dragons and their behavior as perceived by human oral tradition. As in, they used verifyable facts from studied creatures (ie, crocodiles, and birds of prey, for example), and explained how many of the characteristics of dragons in our legends could, if one suspended a bit of disbelief, actually work. And they explained that they'd be extremely endangered right about now (due to many reasons, which were explained mostly earlier in the show, which I missed), and living high in the mountains (carpathian mountains, I think) of Europe. It was a very interesting show, with very good animation.

I'm under the teachings of a dragon expert.... Dragons ARE close to extinction thanks to complications made by Man centuries ago.

I'd say something...but it would be an insult to "Man"

Sounds very interesting! But it would be a shame for dragons to become extinct, because, if the legends are true, they are such beautiful creatures.

Yes... And they are just as intellegent as Man is....which is probably one of the reason they are close to extinction. If you ever get the chance to talk to one...it would be an honor indeed...
