The companion to the sucketh topic. Give us a shout about what's going good in your life! There's got to be something, right?
Happy = lilacs
Reason = they're all OVER the place this year. It's the Year Of The Lilac or something. Celebration!

What's good? I've got a date tomorrow. I'm going to go see "V for Vendetta" with one of my artsy-fartsy guy friends. ^_^ We both have heard it's good, but neither of us have seen it yet. (we're probably both going to analyse it together, because that's how we are). ;D

*checks* Yeah, I am!
Sorry about the absence---life swallowed me for a little while there. But I slit its intestines and crawled back out of its gasping throat, so here I am again to get in the way! : D
By the way: on the inside, life smells.

What's good about life at the moment? We've finished our mock mocks, I'm going on holiday next week, and after that is work experience! ;D

Well, if someone's read the "Things that sucketh post", you'll know that I had insomnia Monday evening. I've actually slept the last two nights (decently, I suppose). ^_^ So... it's all good. Also, we had a physics unit final test today that I thought was going to be horrible (I got 45% on the last big assignment -_-; ), so I've been studying hard all week. I had it last block - and it was easy. No joke. I just sat down and all the way down the multiple choice I was like tick, tick, tick, I know that, I know that, I know that. ;D And the written question (which is usually something sadistic like a diagram in which we have to explain, in detail, what's going on, physically, naming specific laws), was actually rather easy - it had actual numbers, and we just had to find missing variables we usually don't have to find. That's rather easy for me because I rock at algebra. After I finished, I sat back and was like "what? That's it?" I even had twenty minutes left of class to get started on my French homework - I had rushed through it, anticipating getting stuck on something hard, but... nothing. ;D I'm so pleased with myself. Studying really does help. ^_^

Yes it does ^_^ I blazed through my last final in 15 minutes, didn't even expect it till it was over.

I don't know which I'd rather- finishing an exam really early, being confident of my results, or finishing an exam five minutes before the time ends, and knowing that I've really taken my time on it. The latter was the case with my English exam, but with Latin, our teacher hyped it up so much, so that we were all dreading it, and it turned out to be really easy! But that meant that everyone in our row had to sit still and quiet for an hour and a half in a very cold hall doing nothing.
But I really hate it when teachers do that- they make an exam seem like the hardest thing on the planet, and talk about all this horrible stuff they've put in it...And then it's actually not that bad at all! Oh well. Better than finding the exam really hard, I guess.

Wha!? I can hardly remember some things. Especially Math exams, where it's really a test of "memory" rather than your math skills.

Yes, that it is, that's why I never liked that stuff

Yeah. It really is memory if you think about it. You have to remember the formulas and the rules.
