Graduation...what fun. :\ 150 bucks a month does not pay for a family of four AND my college tuition. Would help with the keeping a job part if I didn't have the same effects as insomnia for my whole life. (I have Chronic Fatigue.)
And that's what sucks in my life lately.

Gah... Insomnia... again. -_-; And I have to bike in the freezing rain to my japanese night class in a bit because mum and dad have to go to this dinner and can't drive us. Le sigh.... I just hope I don't drown out there. >_<;

After several weeks of growing concern I seem to be displaying all the expected signs of Oral Cancer, of all things. (I have named the lump in my mouth Phlogus after the Metroid creatures because he is both an invasive species and simultaniouly phlegmy and I hope bogus; the lymph node, while it lasted, was lovingly named Wrrk due to the fact that such was the sound that squirked in my ears when I pressed too hard on him.) My luck---of all the crippling and potentially fatal diseases I have to get, I get the one that sounds like a horoscope title! Lovely.
Dude, will I get to have the lower half of my face removed? GNARLY. And that stuff yeah.
Actually, though, the thought of having a half-nonhuman face is intriguing. If you can't have the good luck might as well still enjoy the fun eh.
Going to see several doctors tomorrow about some other things (I love being a medical analomy!) so I'll bring this up while we're there. DOCTAH, I THINK I HAVA ALIEEEEEEEEN IN MAH MOUWF. *opens wide*
In other news, Japanese KH fansites suck. If you wonder why, just try to get into one.
EDIT: I have just found the Mecca of Naesala art. All is right with the world, even Phlogus. *wafts off in content*

You think you have cancer? It's a good thing you're going to the doctors tomorrow - it's best to get it diagnosed quickly, as it's then easier to cure. My brother had a rapid-growing germ-cell tumor the size of a squished grapfruit next to his lung - we're told it probably grew in a month. So... yeah, it's best to get it sorted out quickly! Um, I don't want to sound insensitive so I'll refrain from mentioning the French woman who got a face transplant. Japanese class = still fun. I have a katakana spelling test this evening, though. Katakana is the second alphabet I learnt, and so I still don't know it as well as hirigana. This one is used to spell foreign words in Japanese. Since it's all phonetic, you have to really, er... think like a Japanese person thinking in English, if that makes sense. For example, "buisiness" is spelt like "bi dzu neh su" (each group being a katakana character), and guinea pig (as in, scientific experiment subjet) is spelt "mo ru mo - to" (as in, er... "marmot", the animal... yeah). It's REALLY hard, and we begginers really shouldn't be learning it until next year... but it's interesting, too.

Personally. I wonder how the Japanese learn their language.

Well, even they leave out about 4,000 Kanji characters, as they've been lost to history....

Yeah... But one word could mean several. Branching them together.

I know it IS complicated, though in comparison, German has 20 different words for our word "power"
