I don't have to do this if you guys don't want me to, but I'd like to keep this board ship-shape, so to speak, and that means that after a while, there'll be a lot of topics and posts around here, but if a topic hasn't been replied to for over a month, it comes up with that little 'new' sign that also comes up when someone HAS replied. Now, this can get very annoying, but it's an automatic thing so I can't do anything about that. I could just leave old topics, but I know of another proboard that I go on every now and then when the people HAVE just left it, and it's built up.
Basically, what I'm saying is that unless you guys really don't want me to, what I plan on doing is deleting anything that hasn't been replied to for over a month. If there are one or two topics that you think would be useful to keep, tell me and I'll leave them as they are. ;D

On the I-Kronos board they have a "Graveyard" section, where the mods place the topics that haven't been responded to in a month. Those are left up there for an additional month, so if someone wants to read them, they can, but to respond, they have to start up a whole new topic.

Well, I DO want to keep this board neat and tidy, so to speak, so that 'graveyard section' sounds good to me. ;D

No, you can get to any that have been moved just by going to the graveyard section. ;D

Cool, why don't you create a "Graveyard Section" for regular threads, and leave the fanfiction and fanart section as-is, either that or make fanfictions and fanart into "Stickies", which will always be there. You're right, though, for threads that nobody is replying to, which means they probably are no longer reading them, there's no point in just letting them clutter up the whole board, since this can get confusing. A good example is the IMDB boards, where you have new people coming on and starting the same threads over and over again, because they can't be bothered to read everything that's on there, and don't realize that this conversation has already taken place, many, many times. All they would have to do is to look back, oh....six or seven pages, but of course, nobody wants to do that. That's why a section for the older threads is a good idea, and people can go and see if a particular topic has already been covered, so they won't have to start a new thread on the same thing. If interest in an old thread starts back up anew, you can move it back into regular circulation.

I could do two graveyard sections- one for fanart and fiction, and one for the rest. I've already made one graveyard, so all I'd need to do is move the stuff that's fiction and art into the new one. ;D
