They did such a thing on a human baby once.... Though it's really not so different...

(*Nods*) Yep... No real difference... Either way it's cruel and unjust!

Did you heard about a baby monkey named Britches? He was a baby monkey born into a laboratory. At birth, they took him away from his mother and sewed his eyelids shut with a coarse thread and put this sonic device on his head to test about blindness. So they put Britches alone in a cage with no warmth or comfort from a real mother. Then, ALF (Animal Liberation Front), an extreme animal rights group, broke into the lab and rescued some animals. They found Britches and other animals in cruel tests. They also found baby possums, not old enough to leave their mother's pouch, with their eyes sewn shut. The ALF took the animals back to their hideout and treated the animals with love and care. A vet removed the thread from Britches's and the baby possum's eyes. The ALF treated Britches with love and compassion. After a few weeks, they sent Britches to a sanctuary where he was adopted by another female monkey. So this story had a happy ending, but there are still laboratories that perform sloppy, painful experiments on poor defenseless animals.

That's terrible!! But those animal protection groups are doing all they can to stop them...
Have you mob heard of the RSPCA? It's a special group of animal welfare for Australia... My dyslexic friend sitting next to me, TRYING to read over my shoulder-
Lara: Hey! >_<
^_^ Worked for them for a year and half... It's a very good group!
