Would Arenaline effect this process? Randall keeps telling me it's more of a mental process than physical. Adrenaline affects ALL aspects of the body's processes, in one way or another. It can either accelerate the process, as it does with many purely physical ones, but it can also interfere, especially with cognitive functions. Adrenaline tends to override, or shut down, mental functions associated with concious, higher-level thought processes, especially when acting in conjunction with another hormone, Cortisol. These two are responsible for the primal, instinctive "Fight/Flight" reflex, which operates on the brain's most basic and primitive level. Concious choice is non-existant at this point. I believe that by the time of Door Vault scene in Monsters, Inc., Randall was pushed to just that point, where he had no real will power left, but was simply functioning on this Adrenaline/Cortisol rush. pitbulllady
