The Z Factor by Joy
NOTE: Yes, the title of this chapter is a little inside joke to Star Wars. One of my family members was involved with some minor CGI elements in that movie. . .So, you KNOW, I couldn't resist paying homage to that in some way. LOL. ^_^

Chapter Six - Attack of the Clone
As the door shut behind his friend, Randall decidedly got up from the couch and removed his bubble helmet. He set it on a table nearby and glanced around the room. It looked sort of like a small lounge, with places to kick back and relax everywhere you looked. However, Randall wasn't interested in staying there - just in case one of the space rangers came in. So, he vanished and emerged out into the hallway.
He swiftly slithered down a few corridors and found the rangers' living quarters. It was located in a quiet and peaceful part of Star Command, so it seemed to be the perfect place to hunker down and relax for awhile. Randall knew he wouldn't be discovered if he stayed in Ty's cabin and that was where he was headed.
It wasn't hard to find which one was his, since each was labelled with the rangers' last names. He immediately spotted "Parsec" above the keypad and typed in the code he had seen Ty use to get in. The door opened with a hiss and he went inside, his scales returning to their purple, blue, and green coloration. He casually glanced around, his eyes resting on the shelf full of books.
Perhaps he would find something interesting to read. He had spotted a couple books that caught his interest, earlier.
Randall made his way over to his cot and stood on it to reach the shelf. He thumbed through a few books and magazines; "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy", "A Legion of Space", "Popular Mechanics", and "The Three Musketeers" - to name a few.
The reptilian monster picked out a couple issues of Popular Mechanics and laid back on his cot. But, he barely got past the first page, when a feeling of apprehension and unease entered the room. It felt as though eyes were watching him - just like the time when he found the spybot peering in though the window. Randall's fronds perked up and he glanced around the room. He didn't see anything abnormal - not even out the window.
It's nothing, he told himself, returning to the magazine. Stop overreacting.
However, the feeling hung in the air like an ominous storm cloud and it wouldn't leave him alone. In fact, it seemed to be getting worse. Randall tried to concentrate on the pages of the magazine, but if someone had asked him what the article was about, he'd probably have no clue. Nothing he was reading sunk in. His mind was set on full alert to the things around him.
He could sense another presence in the room, but there was no evidence for it. It was just something he knew.
While his mind debated the issue with itself, he spotted movement out of the corner of his eye. Randall turned his head in the general direction and watched a paper off of Ty's desk float lightly onto the floor. There must have been something in the room - there was no doubt about it this time.
Randall cautiously set the magazine down next to him and slipped out of his cot. He thoroughly scanned the room with his eyes, searching for the slightest sign of another being. Then, right before his eyes, a figure materialized. Lladnar, himself, grinned evilly and met his counterpart's green eyes.
Randall's eyes widened. "Lladnar?!"
"In the scales, my friend," he smirked, leaning into his face and raising a brow. "Or should I say. . .foe?" Then, in that split second, he pounced on him.
His counterpart was too shocked to react in time and fell to the floor with a thud. Lladnar snarled and snapped at Randall. Before he could make contact, however, Randall quickly propped his feet underneath his opponent and threw him off. He crashed into the desk, thusly scattering everything onto the floor. Lladnar swiftly recovered and made another lunge at Randall.
Randall caught him, both wrestling for the upper hand in the fight.
"I have a busy schedule," he snarled. "But first I need to dispose of you. . ."
"Don't count on that," Randall shot back, using a short burst of strength to throw him against the nearby wall.
CRASH!
The shelf with the piles of books and magazines then gave way and fell on top of the evil clone, burying him alive. Randall quickly looked around for something to use as a weapon. His eyes fell on a hockey stick Ty had carelessly dropped in the corner of his cabin. He grabbed it and turned around just in time to see Lladnar heading straight for him.
Randall hit him upside the head the first time, then swung it around more forcefully a second time. This time, Lladnar ducked and grabbed the other end of the stick. He jerked it sideways, causing Randall to collide with Ty's bed, he lost his footing and fell backwards onto it.
Lladnar again lept onto his adversary and Randall swiftly sent a few defensive punches his way, connecting only once or twice. By then, the two of them had gotten themselves into an all-out brawl - Randall on the defense and his clone on the offense. Randall and Lladnar exchanged fast punches that only their equally swift reflexes could, occasionally, avoid. Lladnar repeatedly tried to annihilate - or at the very least disable - his predecessor, yet was met with failure.
They were pretty equally-matched.
Finally, Lladnar grabbed the hockey stick off of the floor and hit his opponent in the stomach. What Randall lacked in dirty tricks, his evil clone more than made up for it. The impact knocked the wind out of him and left him disabled just long enough for Lladnar to grab his counterpart and fling him into the wall. This effectively knocked him out.
Panting with the effort, but displaying a victorious smirk, Lladnar dragged his counterpart out into the hallway and shoved him into a utilities closet. He quickly shut the door and used a laser gun he had swiped from a passing ranger to melt the seam, sealing Randall inside with an undoubtedly airtight seal.
He brushed off his hands and discreetly slunk off to activate the next phases of his plan. . .

The door hissed open to Ty's cabin and the Ranger walked inside, carrying a plate of fried chicken. It was something he thought an obvious carnivore like Randall would love, so he picked up plenty of it, after he had finished his own dinner. Ty took one look at his cabin and he nearly dropped his plate. His stuff was strewn all over the room, his desk had been overturned, his bed had moved five feet to the middle of the room, and the place generally looked like a warzone.
Worst of all, there was absolutely no sign of Randall.
He blinked in disbelief. "What happened here??" he wondered aloud, righting his desk and placing the food on it.
Ty looked inside the bathroom, the closet, and even under his bed, hoping he'd find Randall somewhere. But it appeared he was gone. The only clue he managed to find, indicating he had actually been there, was the issue of Popular Mechanics still laying open on his cot. He picked it up and glanced around at the ground zero that was his cabin.
He let out a deep sigh and began picking things up off the floor. The only things that seemed to go untouched were his dresser and Randall's cot. So, he had alot of cleaning up to do. The Ranger approached the doorway, picking up a bed sheet, when he heard something.
Before he could investigate, XR wheeled his way into Ty's cabin. "Hey, Ty?" he said. "Do you, by any chance, know the Phantom of the Utility Closet?"
Ty gave him an odd look. "What are you talking about?"
"I think he accidentally got himself stuck in there," XR continued, heading down the hall. "He was calling your name."
The Ranger hesitated for a moment, as though considering the credibility of this claim, before following the little robot ranger. He dropped the sheets onto his bed and jogged to catch up. XR stopped at a closet door and pressed his head up against it, listening. Ty quirked a brow.
"I don't hear anything."
XR pointed at the door. "There, he said it again," he declared.
By now, Ty was looking critically at him, placing his hands on his hips. "Oh really? Well then, what'd he say?"
"He said, 'You'd better let me out you little ingrate, or you're gonna regret it later!'," XR repeated, imitating the voice exactly. "Anybody you know?"
The Ranger's brows arched immediately. "Randall?!?"
"Oh! Your lizard-monster pal," XR concluded. "But what would he be doing in a utilities closet. . .? It's gotta be getting cramped in there. Hopefully he isn't closterphobic."
Ty pressed his ear up against the door and listened. He could hear some muffled words and some banging and scuffling, but despite the lack of clarity, he knew it had to be Randall. He ran his hand across the door, suddenly noticing that the crack parting the door had been melted shut. He shot a look at XR.
"Somebody purposely trapped him in here," he declared. "XR, can you bust this thing open?"
XR didn't appear to be in much of a hurry. "But who would do that? The only people who know he's here is you, me, and my buddies," he said, suddenly gasping. "Wait! That new rookie on floor Alpha must know about it! I always knew he was a shifty one. . ."
"XR, just open the door!" Ty urged.
The little robot shrugged. "Alright, alright already. . .sheesh, you humans are always in such a hurry," he muttered, backing up far enough to get the door in firing range. "Three. . .Two. . .One. . .That door's outta here!"
BOOM!!
Ty waved at the dust and smoke that rose from the blast, making his way towards the utilities closet. It was then that Randall emerged from a cloud of dust and smoke, coughing. He then collapsed on the floor. The lack of oxygen and then the dust and smoke was just too much for him. Ty knelt down beside him, trying to wave the cloud away from his face, so he could breathe.
XR then flipped out a fan from his myriad of gadgetry and dispersed the cloud away from them. "Well, that door's toast. . ."
"And so are you, Parsec," came another voice from behind them.
Ty stiffened and turned around to see the most dreaded person he knew: his commander, Nebula. The man had his arms folded and a stern, angry expression plastered on his face. Clearly, he wanted an explanation.
The Ranger stood and opened his mouth to say something, but was quickly interrupted. "What in the name of Jupiter is going on here!!??" Nebula demanded loudly.
Wincing at the tone, Ty did his best to keep his composture. "I-I can explain. . .I can explain everything, sir," he said, his voice betraying his nervousness.
"You'd better," Commander Nebula shot back. "And you'd better do it now - right here."
Just before Ty could begin, all of the lights in Star Command flickered and suddenly went out. Randall was slowly recovering on the floor and he looked up at the ceiling, shifting his gaze to Ty. "It's Lladnar," he said.
"Who?" Commander Nebula asked.
"Zurg's new project," Randall explained. "My evil clone."
Ty blinked, looking through the darkness at Randall. "You didn't mention anything about this guy being in Star Command!" he said.
Randall shrugged. "I didn't know, myself, until he stuffed me in that closet."
XR turned his eyes into headlights and illuminated some of the hall. "Well, I think we'd better find 'im, before he crowns himself commander," he said.
"Not on my watch!" Commander Nebula huffed, stomping down the hallway. "He's gonna have to answer to me first."
Ty hesitated. "Sir?" he called.
Nebula stopped for only a moment. "What?"
"I don't think that's a good idea," he said, nearly wincing at the objection of his own words. "We don't know how to deal with him, sir. For all we know, you could be running into a trap."
Commander Nebula seemed to consider that for a moment, then continued off down the hallway. "Well, dangerous or not, he's not getting control of MY station," he declared firmly. "I'm perfectly capable of handling him, Ranger."
Ty was silent then, watching him stomp down the hallway.
Despite a sense of anxiety, he didn't dare object to his commander's actions and made a mental note to himself not to disobey orders again. He felt he was extremely lucky to get away with what he did. He thanked his lucky stars that he didn't end up with some sort of harsh punishment, which he had expected would be forthcoming. Instead, the problem had proven itself. There was no need for an explanation, now that the evidence was right before them.
"Well, somebody woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning," XR remarked.
The Ranger let out a deep sigh of relief. "I'm not going to risk doing this kind of stuff again. . ." he muttered to himself. Frankly, it almost didn't seem like it was worth the stress.
Randall put a reassuring hand on his arm and offered him a smile. "Hey, without you pal, I probably would've never lived this long," he remarked, trying to cheer up his friend. "At least, not on that planet and in my condition, I wouldn't have."
Ty met his green eyes and smiled slightly. He nodded. "And I guess I wouldn't have gotten a loyal friend either, huh?"
"I hate to break up your touching 'sentimental moment'," XR piped up. "But we have a problem here!"
Both turned their attention to the little robot and he pointed at a security monitor he had popped out of his body compartment. On it, Lladnar was tying Commander Nebula to a chair. Once he had finished, he grabbed something from a drawer in the Commander's office and headed over to the main control center of Star Command. He turned just enough towards the camera to see what he had taken: it was a bomb.
Randall glanced at Ty. "I think he's gonna try 'n blow up yer headquarters," he said grimly.
"Craters!" Ty muttered. "We've gotta stop him; our orbital stabilizers are in there. If he blows them up, we'll -"
"Plummet towards Capital Planet and burn up upon reentry?" Randall deducted.
"Yeah," Ty replied in surprise. "How'd you know. . .?"
Randall just shrugged. "Hey, I'm pretty good with mechanics, remember?" he said, taking the initiative to lead the threesome down the hallway. "Now, let's take care of this guy. You have a plan, Ty? Yer the strategic expert here."
"Don't forget the robot ranger!" XR piped up, coming between the two as they jogged down the hallway. "I've got a brilliant plan! I'll make the first move, while you two stay nearby in case I need backup. How's that?"
Both gave him disapproving looks and XR blinked. "What?"

"We're doing this as a team," Ty said firmly. "As in, all together. I don't think you'll last long alone."
"That's why you guys are backup! See? Aren't I brilliant?" XR concluded triumphantly. "This evil clone won't even see it coming!"
Randall smirked. "So, you like the idea of being a decoy?" he asked, glancing Ty's way. "Sounds good to me."
Ty shrugged. "Hey, why not?"
"Woah, wait a minute, that's not what I said," XR said. "I'm not a decoy - I'm the frontal attacker."
"That's not what you implied earlier," Ty answered.
"Implied? No - what I mean is - I - er. . ." XR paused, hesitantly looking from one to the other. After a few moments of silence, he quickly changed the subject. "So, what's your plan?"
Randall chuckled. Just then, the rest of Team Lightyear came streaming down the hallway, their flashlights illuminating the hall even moreso than XR's eyes. "So, there you are!" Buzz exclaimed, clearly relieved. "Did you hear about the - ?"
"Yeah, we know all about it," Randall interrupted. "Lladnar's got yer Commander and now he's got a bomb. We're gonna stop 'im."
"In that case, you're with us," Buzz said. "We'll take 'em down as a team."
"Where is he?" Mira asked. "Lladnar, that is."
"He's headed for the main control center," Ty explained. "I suspect he's going to send Star Command on a crash course toward Capital Planet."
"What Ty here is really trying to say is that we're all toast," XR said. "Literally."
Buzz brought the team in a circle around him and grinned. "Well then, this Lladnar guy is going to have another thing coming," he said, glancing at Randall. "You probably know the most about this clone of yours. We'll need you in a frontal assault position - along with Ty. After all, this guy is made up of both of your DNA. For all I know, you guys'll be our best bet."
"Sounds good to me," Randall said.
Ty nodded his agreement.
"We'll probably have to wing it most of the way, but here's the general strategy. . ."
He pulled his team in closer and, with their input, began to form their plan of attack. . .
**************
Lladnar slithered stealthily down a long, vacant hallway. At the end was a large, round door, reinforced with a nearly-indestructable metallic compound. The clone knew it had to be armorillium plating. One of the many advantages he had been given was a knowledge of the universe's technology - something his counterpart was only now learning. This made it simple for him to hotwire the control pad. Within minutes, the security had been breached and the door slid open, allowing him full access to the contents.
Clutching the bomb in one of his lower hands, he entered the room. Once inside, the immensity and grandure of the room became apparent. Some of the most complex control panels and main controls of Star Command were all right there at his fingertips! The ceiling towered above his head at least 100 feet and the room itself wasn't much smaller. In fact, it seemed considerably bigger in circumference.
However, his eyes were drawn to the very center of the massive room. There was a platform. Hanging in the air above it was a model of Star Command. A continual stream of holographic data was projected into the air beside the model, stating the current gravatational, orbital, enviromental, and technical status of the entire space station.
He slowly approached the display and read over some of the information. Perhaps, he thought, he'd be able to make more destruction than previously planned. This thought gave him a sinister grin of satisfaction.
Lladnar attached the bomb to the base of the orbital display and began programming it for '30 seconds'. He activated it and quickly slithered over to one of the control panels. He quickly scanned over the controls and spotted a button labelled 'Do Not Touch'.
"This is too easy. . ." he chuckled, pressing it. Then he quickly diving behind a consule, awaiting the explosion.

BOOM!!!!!
The entire station shook as Team Lightyear, Randall, and Ty ran down the hallway. Many of them lost their footing as the earthquake took the floor out from under their feet. Randall, sturdily planted on four feet, was the only one left standing. He helped Ty to his feet.
"That can't be good," Ty muttered, nodding to Randall as a 'thank-you' for his help.
Buzz helped Mira to her feet and set his jaw. "Looks like Lladnar beat us to the punch," he said. "We gotta get moving."
"I know a shortcut!" XR said, wheeling towards a hallway. "C'mon, follow me!"
They had barely made it into the hallway, when the entire station began tilting to the side. The movement forced them towards the leftmost wall and they could now feel the slow decent the spacestation was making. Time was quickly running out. Star Command was built to be one of the best spacecrafts in the Galactic Alliance, but it probably wouldn't hold up to the firey reentry into Captial Planet's atmosphere.
Booster looked worried. "Are we going to make it in time?" he yelled over the creaking of the station.
Buzz stubbornly continued to push his way forward, bracing himself with the wall. "We have to!"
"Stay close guys!" Mira called back to the rest of the team.
They gave nods, all six of the team quickly edging their way along the tilted wall as they followed XR. Randall used his suction-like feet to slither along the wall instead, moving him along faster and easier than the rest of them.
XR pointed toward a hallway up the slowly increasing incline. "Well, there's the hallway," he said, turning to his friends. "Boy, this Lladnar guy really knows how to make it hard, doesn't he?"
Buzz blinked, looking at the tretcherously difficult obstacle. "Okay, this puts slight cramp in my plans. . .but let's go ahead with it," he said, glancing to Ty and Randall. "Move in, you two. We're right behind you."
"Right on it," Ty replied with a brief salute.
He used door frames and cracks to help himself up the uneven ground and Randall simply slithered alongside him. Randall held out a hand. "Here, grab on," he offered. "I'll pull us both up."
Ty accepted it and Randall helped them both up to the door. It opened automatically and Randall pushed Ty inside, before going in himself. Ty used the wall to support him as Randall slithered across the floor. The lizard-monster's eyes were immediately drawn to the center of the room. The main Star Command stabilizer was blown to bits, explaining why the station was falling out of its orbit.
Randall quickly glanced around the room, searching for Lladnar. He saw nothing.
Nearby, Ty was busying himself with the partially-damaged control panels. His eyes darted across the complex configurations. Obviously, he didn't know what he was going to do. Randall joined him at the panel and glanced over it himself.
"Geez, is all your technology so complicated in yer world?" he asked, trying to figure out what everything did, himself. "Ah! This looks familiar." He went to a panel and started typing in some codes.
"What are you doing?" Ty asked, dismayed.
"Trying to get into the backup systems," he replied, still typing away.
Ty joined him. "Here, let me help," he insisted, typing in a code. That immediately gave access to the manual backup activation screen.
Randall grinned. "Great! I can work with that," he said, quickly getting down to work.
He went through several confirmation and programming screens, until he finally reached the activation screen for the orbital stabilization system. "Ugh, finally!" Randall said, typing in some more programming commands.
"Please, press 'ok' to confirm activation," the computerize female voice calmly stated. "Thank you."
Just as his hand hovered over the button, something rammed into his side. He collided with Ty, the impact and the sharpening incline combining to send them both into the far wall. They slammed into it with a loud bang. Ty winced with a muffled 'oof' as Randall fell on top of him, then he glanced up to see Lladnar smirking haughtily down at them.
"Aww, and to think ya got so close that time," he mocked, laughing. "Pathetic, really."
Bent on a getting a little revenge for what had happened earlier, Randall got off of Ty and lunged at his evil clone. "I'll show you 'pathetic', pal!" Randall retorted, knocking him to the floor. They both slid to the wall, wrestling and growling.
As they fought, Ty took a quick glance out the window. A bright light was beginning to engulf the space ship and he gasped. They were entering the atmosphere!
"Where the heck is Buzz Lightyear when I actually need him?!" he exclaimed, pulling himself up to the spot where they had been before. "He always shows up when I don't want to be rescued and then when I actually need his help, he's nowhere in sight! There's something wrong with that!"
The ship now began to shake more intensely and sirens blared in the outside hallway as they got one step closer to annihilation.
Using all the strength he could muster, Ty pulled himself up to the control panel and hung on for dear life, slamming his fist down onto the 'ok' button. At least Randall was distracting Lladnar, so he could get the job done. That much he was thankful for.
To get them out of the danger zone of the planet's atmosphere, Ty quickly activated the emergency thrusters with a couple switches and they all were thrown forward onto the floor. This momentarily separated Randall and Lladnar. Randall had the foresight to grab onto the floor - something that Lladnar didn't have the time to do. He collided with the opposite wall.
Ty, too, slid across the floor, his head hitting a wall intercom. He rubbed the back of his head annoyedly and glanced back at the intercom. Once he saw what it was, his face lit up. He pressed a special button on it marked 'door' and it opened the entrance door. It appeared that Lladnar had internally locked it to keep Team Lightyear from getting involved, because they fell inside just as soon as it opened. It appeared they were using XR to drill their way through.
A few of XR's parts fell off of his body as he tumbed inside. His detached arm gave Ty the thumbs-up. "Great timing, Ty!"
Buzz and his team got to their feet and spotted Lladnar and Randall fighting on the floor beside the orbital stabilizer platform. Lladnar chomped down on his counterpart's tail and he cried out. Immediately, Buzz and the team raised their guns and fired warning shots near the evil clone.
Lladnar turned and spotted his new opposition. His eyes narrowed and he lept off of Randall. "I'm not going to be that easy to get rid of, Rangers," he sneered, quickly transforming into the robotic version of himself. "Try this on for size!"
"Fire with all you got, team!" Buzz ordered.
BANG! BOOM! BANG! BANG!
The robotic Lladnar folded his arms, shooting them an amused look as all the shots bounced off of him. "Nice try," he said, placing a hand on one of the control panels, sparks of electricity coming from it. "But it looks like you'll have to do better than that to foil my plans."
The door, again, slammed shut behind them. XR blinked, looking at Lladnar, as he was screwing the last part back onto his body. Lladnar eyed him with an evil smirk. XR could tell exactly what he was thinking about: lunch. The little robot backed up slowly, feeling a major sense of deja vu, and then promptly turned towards the door and began banging on it.
"Okay, I want out now!" he yelled. "Hellllllllppp!!"
Buzz didn't take his eyes off of the robotic evil clone. "Don't worry XR, we've got your back!" he said.
XR shrugged. "Well, seeing as I can't get out anyways, that works for me," he wheeled over to his team, cowering behind Buzz's legs. "Don't worry, buddy, I'm behind you all the way!"
While Lladnar seemed to be distracted with Team Lightyear, Ty silently made his way over to Randall's side. "Geez that's gotta hurt," he muttered. "You gonna be okay?"
Randall just nodded, clenching his teeth.
Ty eyed Lladnar, who was preoccupied with a long villian monologue, as he approached Team Lightyear. Then he sent out a shockwave, that knocked them all off their feet. Then he was able to snatch a panicked XR from Buzz's protection. "AHH! No! Don't eat me! I - I probably don't even taste good!" XR pleaded.
"Do something!" Mira exclaimed, staring at her captain.
He hesitated, as though struggling with the decision. Buzz appeared to be unwilling - scared, even - to take the robotic villian on.
One down. . . Lladnar thought with a smirk.
Watching nearby, Ty shot a look at his monster friend and their eyes met, a silent plan passing between them. Randall rose to his feet and Ty quietly reached to his outer thigh, grabbing a blue rod that was attached to the cloth of his pants. With the touch of a button, it extended to a full five feet in length. He readied it in his hands.
"Hey, why don't you try fighting someone yer own size!" Randall called out.
Lladnar paused and turned around to see Randall and Ty in fighting stances, prepared to take him on. He laughed, tossing XR over his shoulder.
"Bring it on."

"Bring it on" Wow... Now that's a challenge if I ever heard one. ;D All right! *pumps fist* More Z Factor! How often do you update, usually? (I'm asking because I'm too lazy to go check). Very nice chapter (especially the fight scenes). I can just imagine two Randall (-like creatures) fighting each other; slamming each other into walls, etc. Very cool. I'm sorry; that curse just cracks me up. ;D No clue why. It's from the show, right? *makes mental note to watch a few episodes* As a proud Canadian, I feel the need to point out the random hockey stick. *hums the theme to 'Hockey Night In Canada'*

All right! *pumps fist* More Z Factor! How often do you update, usually? (I'm asking because I'm too lazy to go check). Lol. No problem. I guess you can check every two-to-three days. It varies as to when I update - it usually depends on when I have the time. Very nice chapter (especially the fight scenes). I can just imagine two Randall (-like creatures) fighting each other; slamming each other into walls, etc. Very cool. Thank you! I actually like doing fight/battle scenes most (even though I'm a girl, lol). They're fun to do. Yeah, it's common from the series. Instead of saying c***, they say things like "Craters!", "Holy nova!", and things like that. Lol. That part's very uniquely BLofSC. Yeah, hockey rules! It's my favorite sport, thus the addition of the hockey stick (which wasn't really random ^_^). It's really too bad they cancelled the NHL season this year. . .

Great set up! OOHHHHH I can't wait! ^_^ Thanks! ^_^ Yup, sure is. I knew someone would point it out eventually. Yup, it had a reference - to your Randall "Hockey Days" fic and to my own affinity for hockey. lol.

Yeah...I could tell you had something planned out for that. After all...it IS your crossover art ^_^ I've been meaning to ask Pitbulllady do something similar for the RPG, but I don't think so in her condition...
Really? Wow..... It's....still dedicated to you you know....me and Ran are trying to pick at his memory to finish it.... Since we're moving his Past Stories here I mean ^_^

Wow, brilliant chapter! The action flowed and I was drawn in by the dialogue and the description. Each character's personality is SOOOO clearly defined it's great, and I burst out laughing several times at XR's boldness. I also liked the part when Randall can feel a pressence in the room- like a sixth sense. Great idea. ;D Beboots, have you seen End Of Ze World? There's a reference to Canadians and their hockey sticks there. It's hilarious. ;D Oh, and when you wrote about Buzz being there to save Ty's life when he DIDN'T want him to, yet not being there when he needed them, Joy, I felt really sad for him. Buzz acts like a real big-shot sometimes, which is why, in some ways, I prefer Ty.

I also liked the part when Randall can feel a pressence in the room- like a sixth sense. Great idea. ;D I thought you'd love the parts with XR! I was trying to keep his great sense of humor throughout the scenes. ;D I've often laughed out loud when watching him on the series, so I tried to keep the same element to his personality (though, I'm not quite as funny as XR, himself ) Yeah, though I like him, Buzz's ego gets in the way of alot of things (like friendships) - and, of course, it doesn't help any that he isn't often willing to listen to anyone other than himself. He isn't aware that he's hurting others' feeling either (like, in Wirewolf, he jokes to his team that "Mira, XR, you check the perimeter while I go save Ty. *bursts out laughing* I mean, I'm gonna go tell Ty. Right. Oops.") All that fame has gotten to his head. Lol. His heart is in the right place, but his head's a little out of line. I love Ty because his feelings are genuine and he doesn't have an enourmous ego (I think Buzz took care of that long ago, being saved 50+ times really does that to a guy, lol). But the thing that made me like him most was that he did what was right, even if he didn't feel like it. Like, in "Wirewolf", he was furious with Buzz - yet when he realized that he was the Wirewolf, he urged them to leave him on the planet because he was afraid that they would get hurt. He put others before himself - even if he disliked them - which is a very admirable trait, in my opinion. Only a few animated characters have that kind of integrity. Not to mention - like Randall - he's *very* attractive. XD Lol.

Beboots, have you seen End Of Ze World? There's a reference to Canadians and their hockey sticks there. It's hilarious. ;D What is "End Of Ze World"? Book? Movie? Fanfic? ...Have any of you guys seen "Talking to Americans" by Rick Mercer? It's one of the best Canadian Humor (what would you call it...? TV show? Clip? *shrugs*) ...thing. I even read the humor book "How to be a Canadian (even if you already are one)" because of all the Candadian humor. I'm just really patriotic, I guess. (Man, that paragraph was really rambling, and I don't believe it had an actual point to make. Feel free to ignore it, if you want. )
