Yeah. Maybe they ran out of sugar or something and XR'll ask Randall for some. OH! I could just see Randall with his jaw dropping at the mechanics of the Ranger ^_^ Hmmm.... Actually....yeah...yeah! That could work! I'll do that! Now all I need is XR's character.... XR's character? He's small, but with a big personality! He's always trying to prove himself and be as good as the other human rangers, but has a fear of...well, a lot of things (like, for example, when NOS-4-A2 is attacking Buzz, XR's around the corner asking anyone if they want some coffee) and he's always ready to make a joke out of anything. He's like, scarily chatty and loves to show-off. He's such a great character! *hugs XR* ;D

Yay! There's also this really cool episode when XR's brother, XL, switches head with XR (their heads float above their bodies) because he's evil and wants to penetrate Star Command, and so XR's body with XL's head goes to Star Command and, not surprisingly, he acts really strangely and ends up doing one of those blotch tests, in which his answers were something along the lines of "Erm, bomb...Yeah, that's another bomb...That's a bomb exploding...And that's a bunny rabbit...with a bomb."

Next chapter! This one is kind of a setting up. There's a sort of emotional scene between Minnie and Randall near the end, and you get to see Randall's newest home. Also, you'll learn about the few "techniques" that are used on Characters to make the shock of them knowing they are....well....Characters less hurtful. Enjoy! Oh....I did give a vauge description of Randall's new home, but I'll add in where parts are specific. Enjoy!
Chapter 4 New People, New Places Randall was starting to think that he wasn’t in his world at all, or at least part of it he had never seen. Other than the wide/compact room, the hall he stepped into was nothing like it. Instead of red cushioned walls, they were smooth white with gray blue ends. Instead of candles in glass, they were overhead beam lights that reminded Randall of M.I’s. Also the floor was tiles instead of carpet. Personally, Randall was feeling the urge to yell out for a lawyer, but then again it wouldn’t help. Finally giving the new a name, Goofy was behind him, Donald in front, with folded feathers, looking sternly at him. Faintly, Randall was slightly glad his hands were cuffed. Sure, they were annoying and unjust, but it did stop him from making a bloody scene erupt. “Alright….Mickey told us to take you there….but don’t think we’ll take it easy on you if you try something funny…” Donald said. For a moment, Randall’s brain tried to process the speech. As intelligent as Randall was, he far surpassed many monsters, even adults, he didn’t understand at first. Randall smirked, leaning in with his shiny teeth, slightly stained with a pink color. “Your lucky my hands are tied cause I’m looking forward to pe-king duck”. Donald’s eyes went wide at first, but then his anger came on. Randall smiled, amused at Donald’s jumping around like a little kid having his toy taken by an older sibling. “Alright you! As soon as we get you there I’ll give you a once over!” Don stated, fists barred, head literally turning red. Randall had mixed feelings at the moment. Mad, for the way he was being treated. Sneaky, for getting out of getting in trouble. And gleeful, the example right in front of him. The other one, Goofy, came to Randall’s side. Randall could have sworn he was as tall as he was. “Come on Donald….I’m sure you two’ll get along….”. Randall rose a brow. He wasn’t going to be around these two for a while was he? They were liked dumbed down versions of Sullivan and Wazowski. Heck, even the sizes were right. Donald seemed to calm down, only slightly, turning to head off. Randall scuffed, Goofy coming in front of him. “Sorry Donald’s mad…he doesn’t like Villains….” he said, motioning for Randall to follow him, which he did. “Villain?” Randall whispered to himself. * With that word still in his head, Randall thought it best to go along with what they were doing. He’d get a say sooner or later….he hoped. All three of them had made it to an intersection. “Oh! Minnie….”. Randall stopped, as did Goofy, but Donald continued, mumbling to himself and turning a corner. He missed Minnie, who had stopped at the start of the hall. After watching him storm off, she started again, stopping abruptly when she saw Randall. For a moment, Randall just starred. It was the same person, well…monster, who had seen before. Randall was still angry about his prison-style containment. For now, he didn’t let his emotions get over one another. “Knew I’d see you again….” Randall commented, more than a stuck up one. But Minnie could tell he was displeased about how he was being treated, a battered body with cuffs. * Minnie had originally started heading home after the event at the Recovery Center. But something told her to see how Mickey handled the situation. She thought it was just that. Then again, maybe it was to see if Randall was fine. There he was right in front of her. His eyes were dark, angry, not like she had seen them before. His fronds were normal, showing no shock or depression. His tail tip swayed to the unsettled motion it normally does in calmness. She had caught glimpses of what Randall looked like when he first came. She had never seen such a horrible thing, even more so than Jack’s town. Nearly all of him was in red. Covered in something she had never seen before. It was a miracle he was actually walking. She could tell however, his legs were shaking, showing the difficulty of the simple task. Although as Mickey wouldn’t allow it, Minnie was still wanting to see what it was about Randall that had caught her. “Umm….Goofy…what did Mickey say?” she asked, Randall looking down, his eyes shifting to the tall Character beside him. “Mickey told me and Donald to take him to the Plicar….Pear…umm..” Goofy started, scratching his three haired head. “Pixar….Platform…” Randall mumbled. “That’s the one! Thanks…” Goofy replied. Minnie turned her attention to the monster. “Oh…ummm….”. Minnie knew Donald and Mickey would fall to pieces for he going this, but she knew she had to. “Goofy….don’t tell Donald or Mickey but….I’ll take him…”. * Randall just stood with a shocked look on his face, trying to hide it behind several layers of confusion. “Well...” Goofy started, scratching his head with a gloved hand. A smile spreaded across his face, assuring her. “Well why not...since your sure I guess it’s ok by me” he said with a cheery tone. Randall didn’t know exactly what to do, he just walked to her side, a blank expression on his face. I better check on Donald...I think he’s lost” Goofy said, mainly to himself. With a wave off from Minnie, he started down the hall Donald had disappeared down several minutes ago. Randall was still facing the opposite way Minnie was, trying not to look at anyone. “I don’t know what your up to...but if you think just because I’m cuffed you can take me on...” he started. At first, Minnie looked confused at what he said. “I didn’t come down here to hurt you...” she assured, turning to look at him, Randall doing the same. “Oh yeah...I can’t expect a girl to hurt me” he grinned, straightening, with his mouth holding a chuckle. “What?!”. The chuckle escaped. “What? What do you mean what? You really couldn’t do much last time I remember...” Randall said, slightly appalled, but liking the odds. Minnie was thinking of calling back Goofy and Donald now, but she remembered that Randall’s Interview probably didn’t go so well. With a sigh, she saw Randall had stopped insulting, or joking, she couldn’t tell. “Listen...I’ll take you to the Platform ok...” she said, stopping from adding anything else to it. She started down the hall, making sure Randall followed. At first, he was unsure why no one else was around. He could hear voices but couldn’t see anything or anyone. He kept his eyes on Minnie mostly, wondering something. They had had a rough introduction, and he hadn’t made it any better. But h e didn’t blame himself at first, wasn’t his fault. After all, that Interview brought his edge of anger to come out, so he didn’t really have his discussion mood set. So, he decided not to think of anything else to say, not wanting it to come out wrong. Instead, he took to looking where he was going. Past the intersection, through several halls, they entered a lobby. Randall thought it was similar to M.I.’s actually. It was much more wider than the lobby he knew. There were several blue cushioned chair rows. The lobby desk was in the center, in white and blue colors. The walls were covered with paintings, none of which Randall could compare to, though they each look like they were made out of Ink & Paint. Several potted dark green plants lined each corner, giving a slightly more pleasant atmosphere. The overhead of the lobby caught Randall’s eye. A large, really the size of a mid-sized car, was a set of sculptures built into the wall. One of a brush, the other of an ink pen. But Randall was amazed by the material. It was crystal. Almost like quartz crystals. All smooth and polished to fit the look of the image that they were to create. The reflection of the crystals reflected several images of rainbows. It was, in a word, beautiful. Randall had to stop to get a better look, admiring the work, making Minnie have to remind him where he was. * Heading out of the lobby was perhaps one of the worst things Minnie knew would happen to any Character. Of course, this meant him, Randall, seeing so many other Characters. Simply, it would be a shock. No one wanted that. But thankfully, Mickey had taken care of such things. Randall stopped behind her. With a hand to her pocket, she dug out a pair of green boardered, circular glasses, green shaded. She had been given them when she went to see Randall up close. They were green shaded to accompany his emerald eyes. Of course, not only were they for keeping his eyes un-sensitive, they also had another purpose. “Here...wear this...” she said, turning around. Randall was slightly confused when she showed him the glasses. Strangely enough, they seemed perfect for his unique eye design. “(Fine...but I’m keeping them...)” he thought, dipping his head so Minnie could put them on. His vision shifted to a slightly darker version of life as Minnie led him out. * Randall first thought he was foolish, or probably just confused. He found himself seeing the same city he had lived in for the last few years. As Minnie led him, he was beginning to feel uncomfortable walking out of a hospital, or whatever the place was, he didn’t look, with cuffs on. Then again, he never saw anything like them. If anyone asked, he’d lie and say it was a medicine tube for his hands, or something.

* Minnie started leading him down some steps, feeling slight regret for giving Randall the glasses. Because what the reptilian Character didn’t know was that the item was part of a “Shock Progression”stage. Mickey had told her that what Characters first see and the news they would learn would cause so much stress that it could lead to hurting the Character to a high level. The glasses made the wearer believe he was in his home, never having left. But truly, it stopped them from seeing the other Characters, besides specifics like Minnie herself, and the City itself. To Randall, the Characters passing by him now were all monsters he’d seen in Monstropolis. Minnie learned Characters at first don’t know what they really are. And telling them was something that made life all the more difficult. * Randall saw he was led up some stairs and into a long hallway that reminded him almost of the Interview room. “Here we are...36” Minnie said, stopping at a purple door with a green boarder. Grabbing the keys from he pocket, Minnie unlocked it. * It looked like a resort home. To the North was a green windowed wall. To the left was a living room, two couches and two chairs around a glass table. Randall could tell they sat in front of a very large cabinet with a big screen T.V. inside. There was a door at the bottom left corner, the bathroom perhaps. On the left was kitchen, a large cutting table in the middle with the cabins and material drawers in an H like manner. There were no room dividers, so they were all together. Randall starred out the green windows wall of his new apartment. With the glasses off, he could still see the city out there. With a sigh, he tilted his head in Min’s direction, near the door. “It’s...nice...but I can’t have a place like this...” he said, looking back out the window. “It’s too far away from...any scare company that I see...probably way too expensive...and it’s not like I earned it...” Randall said, whispering the last bit. “Oh...Randall...you have nothing to worry about...there’s no rent or anything like that...” Minnie replied. Randall whipped around, his tail nearly smacking against the kitchen table. “What? You WANT me to stay here or something?” he asked. Minnie didn’t reply. Again, Randall sighed, heading over to a circular cushion near the couch as best as he could. “Alright fine...whatever...just get me my lawyer...I want my questions answered...” Randall said, trying to sound like a man, though he was still young. He had been beaten, cuffed, interviewed, and forcibly moved from his home. None of it made sense and he wanted answers. He eyed Minnie as she came over to his right side, trying to look at him as she sat down on the couch with a sigh. “Randall...Umm...I don’t know how to say this...” she started, making answers for his questions, at least for now. “But...we found you...hurt...thought you weren’t going to make it but...you did so we took you in...Mickey thought you attacked me so he wanted to talk to you...and with everything going on...we thought we should move you” she said, pleased that she said it well. Randall thought for a moment. Maybe it did make sense. M.I. was a hot spot since the incident. The father away, the better, at least until it cools off after a few days. Randall thought it was probably protection from the media or something. Looking down at his tail, he started to think about what Minnie first said. He felt a bit of guilt for the way he acted. He was angry, but not at her. With a sigh, he struggled with the word. “I...I’m sorry...”. Minnie’s ears tingled as she looked at Randall. Sorry? Sorry? If Minnie recalled, there had never been a Villain who actually apologized. And she could definitely tell that Randall was sincere. His voice told it all. She just starred in amazement at him as he kept talking, his scaled blue striped back hiding his expression. “I was...a little rough back there and...I...I was angry at someone else and...I guess I took it out on you...” Randall said, closing his eyes with long blinks. “Well anyway...sorry...” he said, licking the back of his teeth with his forked tongue. Randall really never liked the word. Sure, he used it many times in his life, especially when he was young. But he never expected to say sorry around times like this. Then again, he never had been forgiven. He was looking down, away at the time. His fronds gently lifted with his eyes as he heard a click come from behind his back. He cold also feel the air getting cold around his wrists and around all his hands. Looking back, he felt his arms were free. Brining them forward to see them again, rubbing them together. He saw Minnie place the cuffs on the couch, looking away. Randall was glad he could actually see his hands again, but something bothered him. Minnie seemed to be thinking. Either nobody in the world ever apologized to her, or Randall was beginning to think he was affecting Minnie’s life in some way. He thoughts stopped when she started out. “I know you want to look around so...” she started, heading to the door as if nothing happened. “I’ll just go for a bit I...have some things I need to do...” she said. When she took the knob in hand, Randall got to his feet. “Whoa! Whoa! Wait!” he yelled, stopping her from going. “I still have questions...” he said, calmly now. “I’ll answer everything when I get back...promise...” she replied, heading out. Randall just starred at the door, struggling with another word. “T...Thanks...”.

Nice description, Sean, and an overall enjoyable chapter. I like the idea of helping the characters be gently introduced to their new home to save from a high level of shock. Lookin' forward to more! ;D

Yeah. If you could imagine.
Remember the differences between Animation and drawn characters....
"Nearly all of him was in red. Covered in something she had never seen before." Remember that. And Mickey's statement of what Randall COULD do....
Next chapter is a dream ^_^
