i know, Gorillaz is a band not a TV show or a movie. but they're is talk of a movie and maybe even a TV series. wouldn't that be wonderful? ha. well, just wanted to know if anyone else is as over the top for them as i am. they're more real to me than any other band out there. i feel in love with them the first time i seen Clint Eastwood all those years ago. now im hooked on them. can't get enough. looking forward to next years tour, and im hoping to get tickets. i'll drive to New York if i have to. i just picked up Phase II: Slow Boat to Hades (never could find Phase I) and im going to get Rise of the Ogre (i've slowly been dieing inside without it and i don't know how much longer i can last) next time i travel to the city, which will be in a few weeks. im trying to get all the figures too. right no i only have the newest (not 2 toned) Murdoc one. i just really love them. i could go on and on all day. lol. my Chihuahua's name is Noodle too. im a bit crazy for them. anyone else have Gorillaz fever?

I TOTALLY have the Gorillaz fever! I love it! ^^ It's weird... Most of the things I love everyone here loves too! Cool ^^ If there's going to be a Gorillaz movie/tv show, okay, but I guess I'd love the music by itself and the clips more. But hey, the characters are really well developed, so if there's going to be a movie/tv show, I'm going to watch it! Whatever it takes! ^^

well i just heard take about a TV show at the beginning of the year, but nothing more. and Jamie said that they had tried to make a movie, but they just got into fights with the producers and never finished it. i think that's why it took so long for Demon Days to come out. Gorillaz is just so much more than just a band. like you, i could live on the music alone, but the clips and just silly stuff that they do is just great. i love the MTV cribs episode. "This is me, cutting an onion" that gets to me every time. i can't wait to see them live! and they're going to use the new holograms for the 2007 tour. great!

Gorillaz is my favourite band, and I've got both DVDs, as well as Rise of the Ogre. In Rise of the Ogre, they do talk about a film, but that yes, there have been problems with producers and such like, although we don't really know what is going to happen in the future. They are still very keen on the idea of the third and final album being the soundtrack to the film, though, but we'll have to wait and see.
Has anyone ever seen that MTV Cribs episode with Murdoc showing them around Kong? I swear it's the funniest thing I've EVER seen. "Don't touch the cloth, moth."

oh i just have to say this because it cracked me up:
"Have you seen Prince? His right hand is bigger than his left!"
oh and wait for the very end of Cribs:
"Whose baby is this?"

Cribs was like the funniest thing ever. I love it when Muds is talking about a famous guy (his name slips my mind) and he's like, "we were really close, like this" (*crosses fingers*), and then the camera slowly turns to a spot in the wall which has very small writing on it, and closes up on it. "Murdoc's a nob, signed..."

denies hopkins? is that how you say his name. lol, that was great. but they didn't show it when it was shown in America. that and "this is where, like, the magic happens". those were like the 2 best parts and they cut them! oh well, thats why i watch YouTube and then buy the DVDs.

Really? That's annoying. They showed it over here when they did a countdown of the top fifty MTV Cribs. Gorillaz won! It was brilliant. ;D

"This is me... cutting an onion." XD I still quote that often. It was my favorite part of the episode. Alburn is working on another album along with an opera, last I heard. Lets hope he keeps with it. News on the band keeps changing every time I hear, although this will most certainly be the last album from what I've heard.
